Naughty Dog @ DICE 2018: Storytelling Talk, Awards, and More
Tune in for a special talk with Neil Druckmann and the annual DICE Awards, where Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is up for five awards!
This week, we’re headed to the DICE Summit in Las Vegas, where we’ll join our friends and peers from around the industry for some great talks about the process of making games and to celebrate the achievements of the last year at the DICE Awards. For those that can’t attend in person, you can follow along with live stream broadcasts from the event all week long, including a guest speaker session with our own Neil Druckmann, Creative Director and Co-Writer of The Last of Us Part II.
On Wednesday, February 21, Neil will be sitting down to talk storytelling across games, film, and TV with Dan Trachtenberg, the director behind 10 Cloverfield Lane, Black Mirror’s “PlayTest” episode, and more. The talk will be taking place a 2:10pm PT (Find Your Local Time) – don’t miss it!
Then, on Thursday, February 22, we’ll be attending the 2018 DICE Awards, where Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is up for five awards, including Adventure Game of the Year, Outstanding Achievement in Animation, Outstanding Achievement in Character, Outstanding Achievement in Sound Design, and Outstanding Achievement in Game Direction. The awards ceremony kicks off at 8:00pm PT and will be live streamed on IGN and across a variety of platforms.
