So we’ve seen some concern about the frequency of updates for those choosing to use Uncharted 2’s twitter support. Some reviewers have had early access to the game and selected the option to update their twitter accounts as they completed each chapter of the game. This has resulted in some twittter feeds being updated multiple times an hour. We obviously want to provide the best experience for everybody so for the time being we’ve disabled twitter updates on chapter completions. The option will still exist in the menus when the game ships on 10/13, but if activated, it will do nothing. Some time after the game has shipped, we’ll release a patch to reactive the feature, but with a limit on the frequency of updates. We’re certainly sorry for any inconvenience, but I guess that’s the risk you run when trying to blaze a new trail in the complicated world of social media!

This is a pretty big week for us here at Naughty Dog—not only did we break news on the PlayStation.blog about our first review (5 out of 5 from PlayStation: The Official Magazine, if you’re lazy), we’re thrilled to see the Multiplayer Demo for UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves launch for those of you who have early access thanks to pre-order bonuses AND we’ve been in the midst of making some big changes here at NaughtyDog.com.

This is just the beginning. We’re going to start rolling out a bunch of new community features over time, such as displaying all your UNCHARTED 2 Multiplayer stats right here on the site.
We’ve never done something with this kind of scale before at Naughty Dog, so things
Things are definitely looking a little bit different around here lately, don’t you think? As you can see, we’ve made some changes and improvements on NaughtyDog.com to help us start talking directly with some of the most important people we know – you.
Whether you got to know us all the way back during our Crash Bandicoot years, joined Jak and Daxter on their adventures on the PS2 or, more recently, helped Nathan Drake search for El Dorado, you’ll know that one of the things we treasure most are our fans. Over the years, we have received countless letters and e-mails, and even a few special visits to our studio, and we’ve constantly thought of how we can open up Naughty Dog a little bit more and give you the opportunity to see what happens inside our studio. We’ll be updating the blog regularly about everything we can at Naughty Dog, even if it’s not specifically related to the game we’re currently working on. We’ll read every single comment you leave and we’ll
