We’re big fans of Penny Arcade and you can be quite a few e-mails were passed across the studio when we spotted a comic featuring UNCHARTED 2 earlier this week. This isn’t the first time they have featured a Naughty Dog game, they investigated the plight of the henchmen to be found in our games originally with Jak II, as you can see in this comic from way back in 2003. Things got even better (funnier?) as we were treated with not one, but two comics from Gabe and Tycho about UNCHARTED 2, this one poking a little fun at our in-game Twitter integration. If we could see Tweets like that from some people here at the studio, well, that would be delicious indeed. We’ll keep that in mind for the future… In the meantime, I’ve ordered myself prints of the UNCHARTED 2 comics from this week to frame and put up at work. Can’t wait!

PlayStation.blog posted a rundown of a couple upcoming PlayStation Home spaces today, which includes a new space for the UNCHARTED universe—one specifically for UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves. Apart from the UNCHARTED 2 inspired environment, the Home space features two mini-games to play. The Home space launches Friday, October 23, 2009. Everyone at Naughty Dog is extremely excited as UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves was released worldwide this week! Of course, some of you were already playing (and completed) UNCHARTED 2 as early as last week from copies you snagged during our awesome cinema events in Seattle, San Francisco, Chicago and Los Angeles last week – or perhaps by some other, more mysterious means… Regardless if you’ve been playing for a week or you just came home from the store, I can say that everyone at Naughty Dog has been looking forward for nearly two years to the day that UNCHARTED 2 is finally in the hands of our fans. We’ve had a great run so far, winning a ton of awards and finding out that critics really, REALLY liked our game, but now we get to see and hear what all of you think about it.
