Web Designer
Responsibilities
- Contribute to concept and development of marketing/promotional online creative
- Updates and maintenance of existing site page designs – creating and updating thumbnails, icons, etc.
- Create new web page and user interface elements as necessary, maintaining current visual ID
- Provide creative input on existing web pages
- Design banner ads and buttons for external sites, PlayStation Network, etc.
- Help optimize user experience on websites
- Take lead in design and development of web site user interface and user experience – including multiplayer stats display – as the web site continues to evolve
- Help develop and maintain a strong brand identity for Naughty Dog, including development of web site and branding style guides
- Special projects as assigned
Requirements and Skills
- 5+ years experience in web design
- Expert command of Adobe CS4 tools to design online creative and aid building websites - using Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash including ActionScript, Dreamweaver including HTML, XML and CSS
- Full understanding of the possibilities and limitations of HTML, CSS, XML, Accessibility & CMS
- Working knowledge of video editing, 3D modeling/animation skills and building web UI for mobile devices would be a distinct advantage
- Excellent organization, self-motivated and excellent communication skills
