Double cash (and more!) to celebrate Hanukkah
A little short notice, I know, but there’s no time like the present to announce that we’re taking the occasion to celebrate Hanukkah in UNCHARTED 2 multiplayer by giving everyone a little extra cash during the holiday. Well, a little extra cash is a bit of an understatement…

The great thing about December is that is has a ton of holidays and if there’s anything we love at Naughty Dog, it’s holidays – because they give us reason to do cool things for our UNCHARTED 2 multiplayer community.
Hanukkah just started yesterday and will run through sundown on Thursday, December 9, this year. We were talking about running Double Cash during the full eight days, but one of our game designers did us one better. He suggested we run a progressive multiplier for each day of Hanukkah.
We’ve started observing the Hanukkah holiday on Wednesday, December 1, with 1x cash. At around 10:30 AM PST (what time is that in my city?) on Thursday, December 2, we will kick up the bonus to 2x. Each subsequent day the multiplier will go up by one at roughly the same time.
Day one is only 1x cash, but day two (Thursday, December 2) is 2x cash, day three (Friday, December 3) is 3x cash and so on, ending with a never before seen 8x cash on the last day of Hanukkah!
Our progressive cash multiplier event will end at around sundown – just before 5:00 PM PST (what time is that in my city?) on Thursday, December 9.

Oh my goodness this is amazing! What an idea! I feel a bit bad for the people who busted their you know whats to level up before, but I will definitely be taking this opportunity to push past level 60.

Thanks, Naughty Dog! I will be playing each and every day. But can we see a patch for the lag in the near-future? I only play on special occasions like these because of the lag. :(

As an Arab I’d like to extend a happy holiday greeting to all Jewish people celebrating Hanukkah.
Second, thanks ND for being more inclusive. We (as in, UC2 players) celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas (and other holidays too) so adding more holidays is definitely welcome!

just making a statement, but now garbage players will be like lv. sixty-watevers wen they barely deserve lv. 12 becoz they play for like 3 hrs a day during hanukkah. thats some b.s and i feel bad 4 the high levels coz they get nothing out of this rely. But count me in for the 3x 4x and 5x cash during the weekend… and hopefully 8x if i dont get loaded wit hw :( anyway thx nd 4 making this game better.

I love exploiting chain reaction! My team and I squeeze every bit of money out of it without doing any hard work. It’s awesome! I should finally be able to get to level 60 with 8x cash day. Thank you ND!

well guess wat bro, u prob deserve level 3 if thats the small amt of effort u put into leveling up and ur still not even 60 yet. i admit i hav done it b4, but only for like 3 games becoz its real cheap. i work 4 my $$ like many others and i h8 seeing people boosting money thru chain reaction. on 8x cash, with deposit its $80000 for every 5 captures-over 1million for a full game of cheating. plz fix this

i got something 2 say if u boost 4 ur money n i find u i swear ill make u go so negative u will know ur garbage so if ur a lvl 40 or 50 n u use SA n get lvl 60,70 or 80 ill get me n real players on u n make hate us n quit uncharted 2 4good thats 2 everybody i know the good players of uncharted 2 the people i have played the ones i think are good are

I agree 100% Smitty...but I always have preferred just glitching into one of the many walls Naughty Dog has made penetrable and getting my kills to obtain money. It is much more satisfying, wouldn’t you agree?
-Oh and ND could you make bandoleer give us more ammo? 144 FAL shots/23 Sniper shots just isn’t enough when glitching. I tire of committing suicide to get more ammo, or you could just make the FAL do more damage so glitchers can conserve ammo. Thanks!

LOL! “adicccitinggamer” I’m sorry but you are not good at this game...a 1.04 K/D is not impressive considering you are above level 70. I would hate to see who you consider good players! yeah ill my kd is 1.05 but u know cuz i get all the bull of SA shot guns rpg hammer every match n i get killed by campers glitchers n laggers n all i use is the ak47 pistol m4 n fal n most of my deaths is from people comein behind me n i used every negative i got n now im gettin my kd back up in da summer it was 0.80 now its 1.05 n ill keep getting it up n i got skill alrite in da summer i sucked hard but now im goin positive 80 percent of my matches a day n i earded my skill k

It’s a booster that, get this, blocks out the effects of situational awareness! Amazing, right!?
Anyway, if you’re constantly getting killed by people with shotguns, RPGs, the hammer, etc., maybe you should try using them sometime. I mean, using only your default weapons with badges of honor is just plain bad strategy (stupidity).
Plus, if it works for all of those “fags” and “scrubs,” think of how much better you could do!

Glitching has been getting better and better with these cash improvements. It really was terrible when I put all that work into glitching and didn’t get the money I deserved. I’m happy to see that you guys are finally promoting glitching and chain reaction farming!
-On a side note...why do all these idiots keep saying that they are reporting me for glitching and that I’ll get banned haha. I mean you guys love glitching just as much as I do right?
