ND - the game is incredible, but I think I was unfairly penalized for quitting when the lobby froze (about 5x’s this weekend), I waited around 5min but nothing happened so I quit the game then restarted and lost a whole level. I’m sure it’s busy but if I could get those points back that be awesome… Also in a Village co-op we lost the ground and buildings I died a few times from falling through thin air. However, I still can’t stop playing.

I was wondering myself what exactly doubles in co-op? Also the “deposit booster”, does that only apply for competitive? Reason I ask is I played a Survival match, got 5 treasure hunters, 6 get offs, punch out, and medic but only was issued 9k? If so you should really be more careful about how you word the discriptions of the boosters because I wouldn’t of wasted my cash on it.

I’m loving the MP so much, and the double money makes leveling so fast too.
2 issues still though, 1 is the infamous Ice Cave clipping glitch, I played a match today and someone from the other team was just meleeing us through the floor. The other issue is, for matchmatching, there needs to be a better way of assigning the teams in a balance fashion; I played a couple matches where my team consisted of 3 very low levels, versus a team that was half comprised of level 40+.

Still, I’m having a blast playing.

im really diggin the updates ladies and gents! the leaving system is awesome, making sure people stick in the game and not leave cuz theyre getting worked. good idea on that one. also its awesome with the skins and all, a nice little change for the halloween weekend. keep it up ND! regards.

Alright, Naughty Dog I only have 2 observations to make and i hope you accept my criticism =)

1- Leavers, their a pain in the ass but i don’t think its that big of a deal on an action game with 5 vs 5 matches. Unless its on co-op where the match ends if someone leaves and we loose the points we’ve gathered.
Now i hope we don’t loose points for disconnecting
involuntarily due to connection problems.

2- I think you guys should post something about this whole double money weekend situation and be more specific, because to be honest i haven’t noticed any difference and i haven’t earned any extra money compared to other days and i’ve tried pretty much everything.

Keep up the good work, and you guys should have ND t-shirts available (like Drake had on Uncharted 1)

The system for penalising players is completely and utterly retarded.

Players quitting during games was only a minor problem, I myself never had a problem with it.  The fact we have to wait 30 or 90 seconds before we can play the game we bought for £50 with our own money is bang out of order.  Why have the option to leave a game when we get “penalised” in this way for it?  It’s a bloody game, we want to have fun, and if for some players they want to quit one game to keep having FUN why should they have to wait a slow-as-hell 30-90 seconds?

And, on top of this, there is £40,000 taken away for the third quit in 24 hours.  £40,000.  That is half an hours play time that we have to redo, just for quitting.

Let me tell you Naught Dog, the last day of playing Uncharted 2 has been no fun at all since I had to spend time redoing what I had already done and, effectivly, wasting my own time to play your video game.

While some may say “You’re a noob if you quit” or “You deserve it”, they I say - Do I deserve to be matched up with such bad teammates every game?  Every game I play with the exception of a few, I am paired up with people trying to play the game using their balls instead of their hands.  And while his happens in every game, there is little to no hope of us actually winning the game and therefore the act of leaving the game has barely any effect and ensures I can try to have fun searching for another game.

To fix this problem I would recommend you lessen the penalties:
1st quit: 15 second delay
2nd quit: 15 second delay
3rd quit: £5,000 point deduction and no time delay.

Doing this would balance out the system for ALL PLAYERS.  So players who have a reason to quit a game, can, with only a little penalty.  And for players quitting - less of an influence to quit as to not “lessen the quality of the game by 10%” for others.

I hope you take this system into deep consideration to ensure this BRILLIANT game stays BRILLIANT.

The only thing lettin it down is laggers but they are on all games lol. thank god u stopped the ppl throwin treasure off the maps good job.  are there any plans for an x-mas special i think lazarevic will look bad ass in a santa hat XD. i’m against the leaving penalties expecialy on co-op somtimes u get teamed with players that jus have not got a chance, even on easy or normal, u have to leave or waste time watchin level 1-10’s gettin owned by a computer its funny up to a point but when ur tryin to catch treasure and the lvl 4 is stood right by the capture zone with the treasure n he dont kno how to throw it up ( like on plaza) it gets annoying as u watch ur multiplyer tick down n u cant tell him cuz he cant speak english. i jus wish u could select an option were it will only find players that are close to your level.

First off, i would like to congratulate ND for such a fine Solo Campaign and for such a fantastic and innovative way to shot people, i applaud u.

Second thing i would like to say is, Dre u are really annoying and rude to the ppl at ND. Have some respect for the makers of such a fine game, it’s their first online MP for this game and they did alot of things right. U do make SOME valid points and i respect that, but dude don’t be such a TRoLL about it… Relax a lil. They know the problems we are having online, but u need to understand that they can’t just wave a magic wand to fix it… These things take time. Writing code is tricky… you might fix one thing and break 10 others if u rush it so let them work on it while we play, OK mate?

Why the heck was i smacked in the face with a $40,000 fine for leaving a game?! It’s ridiculous, you cannot force us to play especially when I had to leave for university, ruins the game to be fair. And it sucks to play in laggy games and you still cannot leave! I don’t leave unless i have to.

Apart from that it’s an amazing game. Except the control freezes online.

Well, the 30 second leaving penalty solved nothing in Co-Op Objectives. Then the loose $40k did. Now I see you went back to just the 30 sec delay. So where back to nothing solved. BTW, it takes longer than 30 seconds to just find player’s, lol.... Please, bring back the loose $40k or something. Sick of wasting hours of playing for nothing due to quitters. Thx guys.

The 40,000 penalty for being disconnected is really harsh, i’ve actually gone down 2 levels today! My internet connection has stayed connected and i have stayed connected to PSN but in game it says connection error and i get a penalty? The game was working great before this penalty was bought in but from reading the above it seems to have just caused more problems.

I love this game ND’s. I only have one problem that is there’s not enough diffrent wespon in each map. Can you maybe bring in a crossbow in the village map or a tranquilizer on some other map is that will work. And once again thinks for the amazing game!

While I love the Halloween bonuses, I’m a little sad because I got the platinum trophy over the weekend, but now I can’t use my new Marco Polo skin! =/

Everybody who disses the small little stuff and then complaining over it again and again on such a great game. Just enjoy it or hate it, don’t say it’s a good game but the developer’s are ignorant lazy liars (dre). There’s so much time put into masterpieces like this. I lost 2 level one because my game crash, and the other I have a internet issue.

You need to balance team it’s annoying when you are 5-20lv vs 45-50lv premade destroy the multiplayer fun.

Almost finally level 20, you guys are awesome.

If you do the same with double-cash holiday with Christmas, make it so hero’s are Donought Drake in a Santa Suit. That’d be awesome.

I’ll keep posting this until someone from ND responds. Can you please allow survival and goldrush to be played solo. I see no good reason why this is not allowed.

Why penalize us? The game as enough problems with matchmaking and their connection problems, this just makes people pissed.

Also why 40,000 cash taken away? That’s equivilent to 6 games of deathmatch for an average player. Not worth it.

Well i was shocked to see at first that the skins were the same for all games then i came on and read this.

Not a problem though loved the holiday specific changes - Sega and Phantasy Star Online used to do this for easter, halloween, christmas and it was always very very welcomed !

Please keep this kind of holiday change up it makes a nice change to an already great game.

The extras and add-ons , tweaks, etc… This game and your team are un-freakin amazing, great job. Survival 1 player offline would be a great extra add-on cause I’m sick of the quiters, I’ll stay to the end no matter what. So, penalty is a huge plus from me. I think the time penalty should be longer, if someone has to go they could just quit to desktop XMB and the quiters can wait like 5-10 min or maybe 1 hour. Anyways I shouldn’t complain cause I love the game and find it hard to take the disk out of the console.

I’m disappointed there was no abominable snowman, but can’t win em all I suppose. Its so refreshing to play a game that dosen’t make me angry enough to smash something after 3 consecutive matches like Gears of War. Gears handles like a shopping cart and the weapons are so unbalanced its disgusting, whereas this game is the exact opposite.

I know its early, but are there any plans for new maps etc… (DLC)? Btw, the game kicks ass. you guys are the greatest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just bought the deposit booster, did it before double cash weekend, figured it wouldn’t work, so didn’t use it.  Now I’m using it in the “normal” game in deathmatch, and it doesn’t seem to do anything.

So what good is the deposit booster, it doesn’t earn more money.

please, Naughty Dog, if you read these comments, create some sort of system to even out the teams! also, please don’t penalize me any more for leaving a game involuntarily.

Naughty Dog, whoever is working on the online support, they need to fix the servers so players (like me) don’t get penalized when they have connection issues. Bumped down from a lvl 15 to a 13 because of my PS3 freezing isn’t fair.

But other than the large penalty that occurs during the connection issues, I’m loving this game, Double Cash or not.

Read it again, NOT DOUBLING MEDALS. In survival, you get $1000 for completing a round as opposed to $500, in death match $500 per kill as opposed to $250.

yeah,i aint gonna play Uncharted 2 anymore.the reason that finally popped this thought was this here: yesterday i played a match,then it turns out everyone on the enemy team fights cowardly and i decide to quit.next day i decide im bored and fire up U2 multiplayer and then that message talking about the penalty with 40000 and skill lowered come.so my point is,do the game companies enforce penalties so that the enemy team can score cheap kills and have fun on the expense of others?to make sure that “ok,im coming up to diner” and just because of that penalty we are supposed to leave our vulnerable characters there in the game?we dont quit for fun,we quit because we have more important things to do,not avoid getting penalties.you fix this with who gets penalized or im selling this game permanently on ebay...or the trashcan.

Any way to allow us to start out with 2 weapons of our choosing in deathmatch?  it would be a nice perk after reaching certain ranks.

Hi...I have a problem with my gold not updating (my overall)...I earned like 50k today perhaps more and it only registered in my level system...but I didn’t receive the gold...any thing you can do for me...I’ll get back to you guys later when I confirm the problems

Yeah, thanks for ruining the game Naughty Dog with the lame quitting fine. I have a pretty bad connection and get regular connection errors. Now that multiplayer is totaly worthless if I lose 40k every 4 or 5 games.

Good job at the game but you scrued up at one thing when you leave a game or you get kicked you loose 40000 dollers so put a stop to that please and then your game will be almost perfect

Is it me or is the matching both unfair and quite bad. I’ve been waiting for 50 mins now and i have no match, and the last match i played was with a lvl 1 and 8. I want to play with people around my level who know how to shoot, pick up the treasure and throw the treasure. Is that too much to ask for?

ND why don’t you listen to anyone who has posted on the 40K penalty issue. I have just lost 80k in the space of 10 minutes due to other people leaving the match and being signed out of PSN. This is not the first time this has happened since the update either.

Why you insist on sabotaging such a great game is beyond me. You are punishing people who are unvoluntarily leaving matches through connection errors, characters freezing, respawning issues and a whole host of other problems I’m sure other players can list. The current update still sees these issues as the player voluntarily leaving the match which is stupid.

I feel you Arne don’t see this as a problem, after reading the PSN Blog I found one comment you did answer.

i just had a connection error then i got the 40K penalty.. I am at the low levels.. after the penalty, i ultimately went down 3 levels.. why not just penalize leaving players with the 90 second hold.. I never leave a game, but my connection sometimes freezes.. i think the penalty is unfair and harsh…

we just played a level in naughty dog and we found a hacker his acount is sid004 we have the video uploaded but i wanted to upload mine to dont know how but one of my online friends is gona upload it too gauntletz and stryder and matt and me murderking he basicly dies in the video then his screen goes blacnk for the whole match and his starts grabbing us from acros the map hitting us with a shottty from across the map he got a 15 kill streak in the video you will see just folow his guy his screen turns black then he starts getting all these crazy kills its ridiculous we want something to be done about this because of him our rank lowered and we think its unfair for some1 to be hacking like this especial since they came hasnt even been out for like a month please either ban his ip or get rid of his acomplishments in the game watch the video and ull c and please get back to us my online acount is murderking thank you

I’m a GIRL, who loves playing Uncharted and is on level 34 in multiplayer. PLEASE, add a Female Villain skins, as more often than not, I’m a Villain in the game and dressed as a BOY..... Boys have a chose to pick a girl skin when they are Hero and they do, all the time! But girls only have boy Villain skins to pick!! Please help & look forward to hearing from you. I know you guys are probably too busy setting up the new playlists and stuff, but seriously, please sort out the matchmaking system! It’s really making me start to hate the game. I always try and stay off these kind of bandwagons but now I’ve gotta say something.

Every math i play I’m teamed with 4 players ranked 1-30, versus 5 players ranked 30-50 and so on...how can this be fair??! If my team can’t put up a good fight how can I or anyone else for that matter? Please don’t make me hate my favourite game of the year so far!!
