UNCHARTED 2 Soundtrack in Stores Today - PlayStation.Blog
Greg Edmonson’s wonderful original score for UNCHARTED 2 was released on a physical format this week—the CD, if you’re curious. The PlayStation.Blog is hosting streaming previews of three until now unreleased tracks to the original soundtrack: “Take That!,” “Tunnel Vision,” and “The Heist.” If you picked up the original soundtrack already on iTunes or elsewhere, you can head over to Sumthing Digital website to purchase the tracks for download individually.

President and CEO of SCEA, Jack Tretton, posted a recap of how well the PlayStation brand fared in 2009 (hint: really, really well)—in it he reveals that we’re doing really well too, mentioning that UNCHARTED 2 is “closing in on three million copies sold worldwide.” That’ll be a great milestone to pass and we’ll keep doing everything we can to keep that train rolling!

Our Experimental Weekend—which featured a global health reduction for a weekend just to see what our players thought about it—is quite an incendiary topic. We didn’t expect the debate to be any less heated when we revealed the results of the poll. As you can see in our comments, players opinions on the health change that weekend is indeed quite opinionated and heated. We also revealed that Title Update 1.05 is coming soon, and that we took what we learned from Experimental Weekend to provide direction to some upcoming changes to multiplayer.

After giving everyone a proper day to debate the Experimental Weekend poll—and it’s still going, of course—we shed some more light on what’s to come in Title Update 1.05. In a nutshell: tiered penalties for leaving a match, fixes for the Level and Skill Rank reset issue we’ve been spotting, addressing flagrant AFK players, and we teased there were more features to come.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves DLC Blast - IGN
After two days of revealing details on Title Update 1.05, Greg Miller at IGN reveals that we have some more DLC on the way, due February 25. This DLC is centered around bringing some favorites from UNCHARTED: Drake’s Fortune into UNCHARTED 2 multiplayer. There’s six character skins and two maps—all taken from the debut title of the UNCHARTED franchise. Greg also reveals that we’ve got 12 new multiplayer Trophies that will be unlocked if you purchase the Drake’s Fortune Multiplayer Pack, and that 13 new medals will come with incoming Title Update 1.05. Yeah arne it would be nice if you replied but i woke up at 9:30 went on Uncharted 2 around 9:40 and when i went it says no update and no “syncing live data” right. but when i go on it does show an extra spot under leaderboards but nothings there! (these times are in EST CANADA) [Ontario]. So when will we have to update the game?

Looking forward to the update… is the stats section of this website going to be updated to encompass the new medals? Would it be possible to also remove the competitive medals from the co-op page and vice versa - or maybe just put them back on one page like it was so I can see all of my medals at once?

i’m hoping this fixes my level rest because i went from a level 47 to a 1 and i have none of my boosters or taunts anymore. if it doesn’t fix my level reset i’m going to be insanely pissed. a lot of MY TIME wasted and money because i won’t play it again.

i’m a girl and thank you for telling me that.

now i’m going to trade it in. i’ve never been so disappointed in ND in my life. both uncharteds are 1 of my 6 platinums, and now i’m sorry to say i regret even playing them or spending the $4.99 on their skin pack. i worked hard for my level 47 and the 3.9mill cash i was sitting on.

thanks, ND. hopefully, just hopefully, you took the time to get rid of all of the glitches in your update that piss people off like this. :D

Anybody seen the update yet?

I’m pretty concerned about how matchmaking is going to work once the update is purchased. Will my game spend forever looking for a match by only looking at others that have bought the update as well?

Really wish the new maps would be a new playlist so that it doesn’t upset current users. If you wanted to play new maps, you could just select a specific deathmatch playlists that incorporates them.

Really want to buy this update, but may hold off until I hear how it’s working for others. I love the on-line play right now and I usually find games fairly quick....I’d love new maps, but not at the expense of slower matchmaking.

You don’t buy the update. The update comes today for free of course, which you gives you the new trophies and improved gaming system. Everyone has it.

The new maps is a DLC, which you can buy from the PlayStation Store. You don’t have to buy the DLC though, it’s an option to expand your gameplay.

Hope this clears things up for you.

Thanks....I had thought the maps were coming 2/15 as well....

Hopefully ND will give consideration to concerns in the blogs over the maps. I know we all would like new maps....but I’m also sure we don’t want increased matchmaking problems because of them.

You know how in plaza a helicopter comes and in village a tank comes. Well I thought that in the new multiplayer maps they could have the mutants in the first game come and attack and only go away when dead. I’m just saying this would be cool. And maybe in the ice cave the guardians in their snow form could come.

I just can wait for the maps and new skins!!! i see lots of bullys didnt like the health update cuz a noob (like me i guess) gets to kill them 1 time in a game!!
Before the update this game was a race for the shutguns then runing around like crazy looking to get close to a guy that was shooting at them with a so called noob weapon empty the clip and get kill.
I am 33 years old, i have been in combat in real life and all i can say is that this update is realistic. I know this is a game but lets get real here, nobody can handel a bullet clip from any weapon.
They say now is full of campers, real wars are full of them guys, (i know this is a game) and your skills to move in it are still there, i think we most learn how to play this game again (thats a challenge) adapt to the new enemy.

Anyway thats my comment i hope i dont offend anyone, cuz thats not my intention!!

yup ur totally right multi. is always good camping or not but however if the map is filled with SA camping bitches,it will really get on your nerves as you will spawn next to someone,hell see you & kill you & thats
how it will go all the match
