The show is booked and the artwork has been selected, now all that’s left is printing, mounting and hanging before the group show opens on March 6, 2010. Hope to see some of you there!
UNCHARTED 2 Title Update 1.04 – Jan 27, 2010 - NaughtyDog.com
The day before our PlayStation Heroes Skin Pack was released, we provided a small but potent update to UNCHARTED 2 in the form of Title Update 1.04. The sole purpose to this Title Update was to clear out all the “Error syncing player data” messages some of the players were getting that were preventing from playing our game online. This did come with a price we worked extremely hard to avoid—those players had to have their Levels rolled back to 1. Oh, and there was one more undocumented and unintentional addition to the Title Update—the ammo capacity of the Dragon Sniper was reduced from 10 shots to 6 shots.

this games connection sucks balls. the gameplay is great but the PENALTIES are * horrible.

yeah! ND please change this. ‘m so used to play with the sniper and all of a sudden u have reduced its ammo. it’s not fair. please change this.
Unintentional? I mean, stuff happens. How else do you get a 7 inch tall guy running around in Madden (SOMEBODY got fired over that one). But that’s kind of scary.
This was content intended for a future update, so it is intentional, just not at the moment. It happens.
can i make a suggestion please?… can we have an update to increase the amount of money that we get in each game to the amount of money we earn?, i am level 56 and its getting really hard, i know it should be hard as i am a high level but i think doing this will even it out a bit but it will still be hard anyway. I just dont like playing a plunder game and knowing that 5 minutes through i have 50K and the next 10 mins or so will be useless.
I think instead of punishing people for leaving an online game you should reward people for staying by having a money bonus at the end of the game. Also I think there shouldn’t be a limit on how much money we earn per game. Great game ND, I will be playing it again just as soon as I get my ps3 fixed.
I totally agree with you. I hate when I have a connection problem then get my rank lowered.
yeah it happened to me twice. ‘ve left a game after i found a guy on my opposite side glitching. in the next game the game hanged up(i can’t do anything to start it again). so when i restarted the system i got a message that my skill level was decreased and i got 40k penalty. its a shame ND

It shut off while I was downloading the update for this game and I can’t turn it back on. I just get a flashing red light.

At least increase the amount of money earned in the game above 50K to make it worthwhile.
And get rid of the $40K Leaving game penalty, listen to the people !

The skins pack is cool, especially on the Villains side with an increased variety of character styles and tone.
ND, could you please figure out a solution for unnattended players in multiplayer? I see players that don’t move or act for entire matches, so that their account “earns” infinite money through plunder captures. It gives a specific side a distinct advantage to win, and occurs frequently.

yeah thats what I always do. It gives me the invalid kills that i need really bad. Anyway is that a hack or is it just a connection problem because sometimes when my connection is bad i stand still for about 5 seconds and i dont like it.
this is a good point the although the system does not allow you to keep playing over 2 matches or something especially if there is no movement on controller. just boot idle players and allow people to join. simples
yea i was playing a plunger match only two players and he was like dead i had to play that whole match by my self, and i was gonna quit but then i would get ranked down like before only because my game froze
Same thing happened to me. Accept i just left the game to my whole team which were all standing still. I noticed that you will get the $40.000 taken away when atleast 1 person has left from the beginning of the game and is not shown as the gray writing. Its when it only has at least 1 name gone on your team.
We’re looking into solutions for this, we definitely don’t want some flagrantly AFK players to affect the outcome of matches (or gain the benefits).

Why don’t you just boot anyone who got 0 kills in the last game. If they are a newbie and got 0 chances are they won’t want to play the same group of people that they just got slaughtered by anyway.
A couple of suggestions:
1. Why not include a suggestions blog on your site then people will stick to the topic at hand
2. Gold Rush is great but nobody plays because it is flawed. I’m sick of being the only one trying to move the treasure and then getting nothing for it. I can’t blame people for wanting to kill instead of carry because there is absolutely no insentive to carry the treasure. I’ll carry it from one end of the map to the other drop it in the basket and find I have 0 points (or very lttle).
3. Your stats page on the website is a cool idea but has major problems. Each time I go to the site my stats (such as number of games played) go up and down.
Don’t forget, you guys also won PTOM’s GOTY award!
P.S. Please give the new skins voices! Or at least clarify if you can or not
I really want my main weapons ammo fixed. Aka the Sniper cmon ND dont let me down… Besides not many people are good with it.
Ps. I randomly get kiked from matches before and during in the middle of a match without touching my teamates. Its very strange. It just boots me and says you got kiked. And one time i was with a party of 5 waiting to find a match. And over the text chat my friends were talking about the where i was. And iwas like im here. Apparently they were in the middle of a match while i was waiting in the lobby with there names. I clicked to back out and as soon as i did. It said i was kiked. Please look into this.
ive been having the same problem also when i play in the ice cave and throw a granade it always kills me even when it lands miles away very bad it used to be one of my favourite maps
I’m not sure if this was a glitch patched, but in The Lost City. The Hero’s side has a glitch where you automatically die. In the pit where the Desert is, if you hang on the edge and switch hands while aiming, you automatically die. Is there a way to fix it?
My friend is still stuck on 1.04.533. What can she do to fix it? She’s deleted both game data’s and it still won’t update.
ND please let us know if north america is going to get Daniel Pinkerton and Rika Raja please ND I would love to play as these two.

suggestion for a gametype in next dlc. the game stars out with one person playing as a guardian or yeti and everyone else is against him/her. when the yeti or guardian is killed the person who killed him becomes the yeti and every one is against him. the person with the longest time as the yeti/guardian at the end of the game wins.
you know how your in the village and a tank comes and shoots at everyone? you know wat would be sick, if for a small amount of time a yeti or guardians appears and comes after players.
Is this a glitch or something? Whenever i pick up a sniper rifle I only get six bullets, however, if I kill someone that has a sniper rifle when i pick it up it has more than six.
Ranks got reset again?! My whole party just got reset back to 1..
Sniper needs to go back to 10…

Yeah, I’m not touching this game under my real account until everything’s fixed. There’s just no way I’m risking my Level 51 account, only to lose all of that work and effort to some shitty error that isn’t even my fault. If that ever happened, as good as your games are, I’d just disown you, I would be that annoyed.
I guess I’ll just sign up a new account and play under that one until you guys fix things.
yea that stupid error happened to my account. i had a lot of trophies , then i had to start everything again. then like 2or3 weeks later i checked the account and it worked but i was all the way down at 1 thats bull

Oh my god! again the multiplayer by points reset to 1 point and don’t increase. Firt time I had 29 and reset, now 26 points and reset again to 1???

hey naughty dog i was playing this game online, and this girl was using this glitch. i sniped her, then ak47 her and threw 3 grenedes at her and nothing. she was invinsible and then i went up close to her and she just shooot a grenade in front of aher and killed me. and still she didnt fugen die. i hate fugen glitchers

well they don’t respond much but I’m sure they readed you’re post, if there are more persons with the same problem as you have, then they go fix it
ow and ND, why is the sniper rifle ammo decreased, I mean it makes sense to decrease the shotgun ammo since that’s the most used weapon, I can understand that it is to make glitching less attractive but, if you do this the sniper rifle is already not used much! and 6 bullets is way to few, that’s 3 kills (if no headshots), please fix the glithches, don’t try other solutions like this…
they say sniper was an accident on last update.they admitted that but still released the update.hmmmm shouldn’t you test updates first so there are “no accidents” I know when i code i check it test then use it ..too bad they didn’t accidentally drop the ammo in the shotgun to stop the charge and kill..

I love uncarted 2 but i have come across a few problems that have made me frustrated enough to not come back to the game. I beat the game on normal but to get a platinum i needed to unlock the crushing mode so then i beat it on hard. So my third time thru the game, this time on crushing, i beat it but did not recieve a trophy!! Y would this happen dear naught dog???!!!! also the team balancing for online is the most unfair thing ever!!. the teams r never fair. especially for regular deathmatch.

Make sure you’ve completed each chapter on Crushing. Ther same thing happened to me and I realised for some reason a chapter half way through wasn’t complete.
Just scroll the chapters when you’ve selected the crushing mode and it will tell you below the picture if it’s completed on crushing.
why does everyone complain about the dlc being 5 bucks. my goodness its 5 dollars for 5 amazing costumes.

PLEASE REMOVE THE PENALTY FOR LEAVING A MATCH! I got in a Co-Op match (gold rush) with people who just cared about their own score and left me to do all the work… so angrily I wanted to quite but notice the penalty so I decide not to, then 2 more rounds later I NEED to leave so as a result I turned to team killing the other players. This isn’t just in Co-Op either, I’ve found myself and others team killing in competitive matches just so they get kicked, I only do this when I desperately need to leave but others do it if they’re simply on the losing team… so please Naughty Dog remove this feature that is slowly making me hate my favourite game.
IS it just me or has the damage on the D.eagle been lessened? Seems like before it only took 2 body shots, and now it takes 3.
hey Arne i’m sure you have things in the pipeline to address the glitching when playing plunder but what do you think of combining plunder with execution rules. this way we use cover to avoid being outplayed and if someone throws it out the map nobody is any better off. Also any chance of a heroes weapon pack and i dont suppose we could have a mortar could we???
and can we please have some ropes to swing on in multiplayer.....

Holy crap, a multiplayer map with ropes would be AMAZING. My favorite things about U2 multiplayer are the climbing and the mid-battle tank/events!
theblaese you need to more then just complete the game on crushing to get a platinum trophy, thats the hard part out of the way, but if you access the pause menu when your playing and go on medals, you will notice that some medals have a little trophie next to them, those are the ones you need to get to get a platinum, once you get all of them it will go, DING, and it will say platinum:),
what the * shit sometimes i play mp an than i shoot my enemy 1 magazine in his head he turns and one shot ONE * SHOT kills me hahaha WTF is that or i shoot one and than one of my team shoot one shot on the same person and he gets the kill EVER what is this???????
I LOVE THIS GAME, but what i really hate is when i shoot people for the longest time and they dont die!!! i swear i shoot them and and i ru8n out of ammo and still they dont DIE!!! but when i get shot like 3-4 times they kill me WTF!!!!! fix that problem please

it took me 230 hrs to get to lvl 60.
-grinded a lot for double medal weekend
-mostly death match with BOH boosters
without double medal weekend, i’d say roughly 280 hrs to get to 60.
me dude i ve been lv 6 for 2 months 270 hours to get to lv 60. or 63 million $
I reckon we might get a double cash weekend for Easter.
I think that the DLC skins for April might be The Dead Explorer,Doughtnut Lazarevic, Naughty Dog Drake probley Heist Chole Probley, and Sir Francis Drake these are the five skins that i think we might get in april does anyone argee with me on this or do you think i am wrong.

I am a big fan of Uncharted 2. I did not get the first Uncharted, but after playing the Uncharted 2 beta, and hearing about how the 2nd Uncharted had a multiplayer, I decided to get it. Now, it is the best game in my collection.
I decided to post a comment for the first time, to let you guys know that there are people still glitching on the map known as “The Fort.” I realize that you are a busy game company, but please look into it when you can. It is not fair to the other people, when a glitcher can shoot anyone across the map,

Yes i agree but something weird happened to me. I was playing icecave and someone was down in the cave and I was way out of range over where they are 2 sniping areas to clime up to if you know where that is and the guy shoots me with a shotgun. This happened with the same guy to me like 3 times. It was really weird. Reply if that has happened to you.
i heard that there is a feb dlc that is supposed to contain 2 mp maps and 5 uncharted 1 skins. is this tru because im dyin for some new maps and especially new skins becuase i couldnt but the recent heroes skin pack. Arne please confirm and repond
@VoltaOne i experienced that glitch jus recently and i was mad because the player who was glitchin was a little kid. they were not playin fair so i had to put in work to at least try to win. out of 34 kills for my team i had 24. so naughtydog plz fix those glitches

Not enough people, including myslef, know how to view/save/send replays in online. can u make a blog post or reply to tell me how to. it is starting to frustrate me.... other than that i love your game!
go to the replay, theres an option that says upload.then hit triangle to see the matches you´ve uploaded,select a match and it´ll give you the option to send to a friend. when they send u a video when u go to the replays there will be an option telling you to press L1 to download
i dont really get how a team of markting guys came up woth the idea of making a few skins after 3 months. the game needs new maps its boring to play same maps over and over we needed some maps not some shit skins that dont even talk. and from 5000 players that play the game online i wonder how many ppl will actualy buy it. i wont. so at 4.99 usd thay make 15 20 grand max if 3 or 4000 ppl buy it whats is that nothing. we need stuff that makes the game less boring new boosters. maps, game modes, u have a great game there to bad in march no ppl will be plaiyng it no more. gow and ff13 will take all players away.
This morning I had 2 connection errors in both of my matches, then I quit. It’s really starting to annoy me with all the Connection Errors that occur every day. The DLC can’t be used if no one can play.
I also agree with shosho1019, if you don’t get a major turn around and start getting the spotlight back on you, you will lose players, including myself, that will gladly play some of the other upcoming games in 2010. I don’t know what you guys are doing over there, maybe trying to increase the lifespan of Uncharted 2, but it isn’t working. Cut the BS and fix all the problems before we see come new DLC.
You guys say you are devoted to your fans, and I truly believed that for the first couple of months, but now it seems you have given up. Sure we like the goodies of DLC, but, once again, we can’t use it because of all the errors.
We know you read these posts, but why haven’t you responded to any of the complaints? All I see are the ones that Arne replies to are the one’s that praise you.
