We’ve outgrown our previous Kennel and now the Dogs are moving to a new Kennel – complete with upgrades.

Naughty Dog is moving!

Naughty Dog is proud to reveal that after 6 years in our current studio space, it’s time for the Dogs to move on to a bigger, better Kennel. As of March 1, 2010, we’ll be based out of our new studio less than 500 feet away from our current space.

We’ve built out our new studio from a raw and open floorplan to a killer new studio that provides us with more flexibility in space, layout and adjusting to fluctuating staffing needs – not to mention there are some significant upgrades to help us keep developing cutting-edge, award-winning games.

As I was talking to our Co-President Evan Wells about the history of Naughty Dog and the several moves the studio has made in its lifetime – more on that later – he mentioned that he felt our new space “positions Naughty Dog perfectly to adapt to the demands of developing PlayStation games that continue to raise the bar for our industry for the next decade and beyond.” Needless to say, all of the Dogs are looking forward to settling in to our brand new Kennel!

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be showing you a bit more about what makes our new space great – including photos from our move in and a closer look at our upgrades.

i think that there needs to be another jak and daxter because if naughty dog did not make jak and daxter then they never would have been heard of or have the money to make uncharted

Isn’t the DLC appearing tonight on the 25th in the store? I see it in the game menu but says I need to buy it which gives me no option to do so… Anyway, good luck with the move and I hope it inspires you guys with many more opportunities to come. Thanks.

Yep the DLC will be here on the 25th, just make sure to wait until the PSN Store updates in your area. For America, you have to wait at least until 3 PM or later depending on the time zone to buy it.

Congratulations on the custom-made offices, Naughty Dog! Keep channeling that creativity into my favorite games!

AWESOME! New spaces are exciting. My office moved less than a year ago, and it has been incredible. I also just bought my first home, being the 10th move in 10 years. Needless to say I am use to moving. Congrats. So Arny, how do you think this will effect Naughty Dog’s next release?

I really liked your old studio. (Saw it only in pictures and the U videos)

I think Naughty Dog should make another Crash Bandicoot, like the originals on the PlayStation 1 for the PS3 and buy the licence back off the crappy new creators!  I think Crash doesn’t have a developer at the moment so go on Naughty Dog, you will make Crash Bandicoot fans so happy, just look on YouTube, everybody want’s Crash back!
