Siege Expansion - On Asia PSN Store May 7

We recently saw some questions from our community in the Asia region (Hong Kong and Singapore) asking why they couldn’t find the Siege Expansion Pack on the PlayStation Network Store and when would it be published.
We have some info on when you’ll be able to purchase it.

After seeing some questions come in from our community as to the availability of the Siege Expansion Pack on the Asia region PlayStation Network Stores. After we’ve heard from a few people, we heard from SCE that due to some unforeseen technical issues, the publish date of the Siege Expansion Pack on the Asia region PSN Stores has been delayed to May 7, 2010. This applies for the Hong Kong and Singapore PSN Stores—I understand that the Japan PSN Store already has the Siege Expansion Pack available for purchase.

We mentioned this delay in the past couple of days on our Twitter feed and our community forums, but wanted to make sure that everybody who may be in those regions gets the news.

We hope you’ll join us online with the DLC then!

Yea the USA is not last at getting a new expansion pack! LOL. Great work guys I love the high rise level! And the helicopter attack is great!!!! Are you gonna have anymore DLC for U2 or do we have to wait for Uncharted 3 for new material! Thanks again! :D

For some reason i can’t post on your forums. Please keep the FAL the way it is and let the other power weapons respawn and not just the stupid rocketlauncher and hammer. I think you need to nerf down the irons even more when someone combines it with fleet foot. I did that in 2 games today and went about 30-13 but it was no fun. I only did it cause the other team was doing it and also using SA. You guys better give us a borneo multiplayer level!

I was woried bout the DLC.Thought it wont come out on Asia Psn store.I will buy it immeditaly on store.I wish siege mode was harder,cuz I saw on youtube siege gameplay highrise(It is full gameplay)and looks pretty easy.Sry on Bad English

I got to round 9 on highrise siege with one other person, probably would have won the entire thing if I did not get the old connection error, btw highrise is an easier one, the one for Flooded Ruins has a bunch of guys using riots shields on it *rolls eyes*

i know i also want a new dlc maybe nepal on ground or tree of life place? and nd just sayin could u plz raise cap to atleast 75k it would help if u cant its aight i estimated im at my lv 53 it would take me 10hrs with invalid just to go 2k i need 3 or 5 hours on deathmatch anyways keep up the good wrk

Hey great game Slimjim-----You and I beating Sanctuary on crushing by ourselves, never done that before! And good point! We did get the fort for free! I’m not worried about free content----as long as sony lets us have free online play we have the best!
IMO, I’d like to see more vehicles attack us in the MP modes and a bonus medal if you can destroy the attacking vehicles before they dissappear! I’d also like there to be a type of Banzai mode where the computer AI just slams you over and over with attacks from all types of enemies. I think there needs to be a mode that is harder then crushing, that is what I want to see. I’d like a way to test mine and my team mates skill by seeing how bad of an onslaught we can survive. :D

Naughty Dog please. Please listen to this post im gonna post it all over the site. Listen new maps pretty good..... however how come every DLC you have come out with are so F-in camper friendly. The run and gun dynamics of this game dominate anything ever on the market… exploit it. Temple, village, and Ice cave are the shiznit lets see more like it. PALEEZe. O hey and what about you naughty dog employee i dont think we’ve ever had a tournament or anything we needs a event ND team first the world for a weekend

now that 1.07 has been released for a week, how about full disclosure on everything you changed in it.

as for the museum and highrise, i again regret buying those maps. are trying to make people camp now, those maps are ridiculous for camping. how about not making maps as big as those that make people camp because it is so big they are afraid to roam around.

fix the * connection issues now, before all these stupid ass changes i never had a connection issue, now they are popping up every day, whether it be freezing my game up or dropping me from the game and then i lose $40k. this is * stupid. maybe in your next patch fix this issue and stop making gameplay changes. concentrate on the network issues and map issue before you make any more gameplay changes.

again i regret buying the latest dlc, i thought the game was a little better after 1.07 but now that i have actually tried these maps, they are just dumb. the maps are too big for 5v5. i dont know why i keep coming back to this game and i know ive said this before, but each time i come back i find more issues that remind why i left in the first place.

lol, hate to say it, but this guy is right. Bought the DLC, and can’t even hardly get on certain maps of it for the fact there is only one choice for DLC matchmaking, and not just for that select pack. I also find many issues with connection, and feel that losing any cash in the game is bull for the fact half of the time anybody loses cash it is your fault.

Do us a favor, get rid of camping grounds, and make matches bigger, or I will not be too happy for the next DLC pack.

I just had a great idea. One weekend a month no cash cap. And it could also be a profitable weekend for ND. Just charge some random advertiser to run a banner on the top right of the screen for 5 secs while matches load for that weekend and that weekend only. By raising the cash cap (no double cash) people will play more that weekend and you can sell the space to the highest bidder. The players get something and so do you. WIN_WIN

the siege expansion pack is awesome.But can you put all the weapons from the single player online??? and all the characters from the game ex. the big guy with the gau-19 and the donought lazarevic.alsoraise up the money limit from 50k to 75k or to 100k

Hello UC2 Fans,
I agree that we need more double xp weekends, i’ve noticed that when there is dbl xp threr is way more players online. I love this game even with all of the changes. The changes have caused me to play the game differently and thats important, because in the new versions you have to be more preimptive with my combat. I’m not saying that im good but i can enjoy this game even with out winning every match because of the compition thats out there. I love a chalange and you guys at naughty dog have provided that. Has for campers mabey their not camping as much as their just patiencet and the whiners dont know how to be. ( thats just a thought).

Ok, some people have mentioned above that Museum really encourages camping. Sure this is an issue, but i have a bigger issue: the AK47’s accuracy. Seriously, getting killed in half a second at full health from an AK47 that’s on the opposite side of the map (im talking from the sanctuary spawn base to the opposite tower) who isn’t even using Down The Irons. It shouldnt even be that bad WITH DTI let along WITHOUT. Especially with the lowered health (1.04 rules!) this is definitely a terrible problem.

But im still loving your game, highrise is definitely an awesome map, loads of buildings, levels, climbing routes, it’s awesome. I finally know everything about that map now, even the positions of all the weapons like Micros and M4s. Sweet stuff.

If you have a problem with campers there is something you can do… It’s called flanking it works, try it. Or try flushing them out with a grenade. Oh and if you’re mad about getting shot from an AK from far, try avoiding it as opposed to standing there like an idiot. Overall stop complaining, the game is near perfect and if you can’t play it well don’t blame the update blame you inability to play. The new maps are great and add a ton of variety.

Hey theres no need to be sour, the whole point in feedback is giving your opinion. That includes good and bad points. Im just stating what i think needs improving.

And no of course i dont stand there like a moron, im constantly moving and even so it is still a problem. My point is the AK47 isn’t a long range weapon, so the accuracy should not be as good as it is now.

Also, there is hardly any correlation between how well someone can play and how much they like the updates. Just because i have criticisms of the game (which should be perfectly understandable) that doesn’t give you the right to assume i am unable to play it. Think about what you say next time.

As for your last point, i agree, i even SAID so in my post, i said i loved highrise and its different gameplay styles.

Brilliant expansion ND! One of the best value map packs available on the system, and one which is perfectly integrated.

People need to stop whining about free content. ND issued a free map (The Fort) and for those who pre-ordered, you will have received various weapons/skins. Naughty Dog shouldn’t feel pressured to hand out freebies.

The only thing I would like to e added at this point is an option in the profile menu to switch between hero and villain skins for co-op, or have a randomizer.
But I would really like recordings of co-op arena or objective matches.

Needs to be more items to spend in-game cash on....

People keep whining for more double-cash weekends...but there isn’t much to do with your cash anyways....There are only a couple useful boosters to buy...and maybe a few skins…

I’m only at level 52, and there is basically nothing left I want or need cash for. Would be nice if there were some special skins that cost like $5mil or $10mil....golden skeletons or something....or maybe bikini Chloe

Seriously though....needs to be more to spend all these hard earned dollars on. Make some exclusive items....skins, weapons....maybe even an exclusive map or something.

Paid DLC is great...but now everybody can buy a glowing-eyed skeleton skin so no real incentive to save up for one.

Find some ways to reward those that have pumped 300-400 hours into the game. Don’t think it’s too much to ask for to have some ultra-exclusive skins, maybe a special weapon....or maybe a “Champions” map.

Would be really great if you could trade your in-game dollars for some PS Store credits...but I know that is probably unrealistic.

I’d also like the ability to rank higher than 60 also....Why does it have to stop at 60?

Why can’t I ever seem to find a game with the new maps on it? I have tried a ton of times but I can’t seem to find any in the competitive modes. I do have DLC checked in the options menu, arne can you please help.

hey arne, enjoying the new maps and the update has fixed many of the issues in the game. could you tell me if any more dlc is planned? becuase i would buy it in a heart beat providing its has maps or a new game mode. thanks for your time

The best mp i’ve played ever .. but after 1.04 that’s title updates we’re all sux!

Idk what you guys thinkin .. right now the melee damage so much and ppl can just kill me with the melee as so far How The hell they do that ? they come push me then back to he’s place ?

U know wat ND should do… make a Retro DLC pack that includes Crash Bandicoot nd Neo Cortex nd Crunch that would be phenomenal if u guys did because i mean without him, ND would just b 1 of “those” companies u kno what im sayin and also because ppl hav been complaining about how dul the hero skins r. to lv up fas depends on ur lv once ur lv 52 just use invalid with fleet foot 10 kills 5k but if u r lv 50 or lower do plunder &go;for the kills i used to do that but i lv 55 4million i need it ill take a weekend hope thid helps add me if u want glich_king14 just as its spelled jus name i don’t glitch but ND if u can with 75k i’d be grateful keep it up

naughty dog, i am getting really tired of how long it takes to level up in uncharted 2! I have 4 days of playing time and I am only level 49??? I also wish there was some sort of way you were able to prestige in the game, kinda like call of duty modern warfare 2. haha, it’s funny, my friend has prestiged three times in mw2 w/ 3 days of playing time, and i have 4!

Hello NAUGHTY DOG , i’m here to just say that i do not understand why did your team did not fix spawning of players in plunder mode?
Recently , i have just spawn in this position , went further upfront , kill a guy , then stayed in the same area killing another two but got shot down by someone who is behind me and it happens to be the guy who i FIRST shot down. I mean what is this??? Is this fair? What kind of spawn is that? Directly spawning behind me after i just killed him? Hope you can fix this spawning issue. No matter what , i still love your game! wow 70 comments this game died when u screwd up with ur shitty updates . just some advice if players sugest something id lised as they play the game alot more than ur testers. hope u wont screw up again see u in uncharted 3. this game is dead no players play it no more. fix it back with 1.08 update maybe some will come back.
