UNCHARTED 2 Title Update #2 – Nov 27, 2009
The next time you start up UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves you will be required to download an update to the game.
The list of changes we made is pretty short (and you’ve probably heard about them earlier this week):
- Added Global and Friends list Leaderboards to the Multiplayer menu with the following categories:
- Global Competitive Wins
- Global Co-op
- Global Kills
- Global Money
- Friends Competitive Wins
- Friends Co-op
- Friends Kills
- Friends Money
- Added a player card to the Multiplayer menu
- Added “The Fort” multiplayer map
As always, there’s a few things we fiddled around with on the backend that we can’t tell you about.
UPDATE 2:45 PM PST: We have noticed that players have had an issue with receiving the proper rewards for Double Cash weekend. All players will shortly be receiving the correct amounts for kills and winning a match. We are still looking into the issue regarding Medal awards. We’ll update this post when we have more information.

what the hell?! Party-up system got bugged after the patch. Not only I can’t see my friends playing multiplayer but after joining team nothing happens. To any of us! After clicking on join NOTHING HAPPENS. Same happens to my friends, we can’t team up at all! Come on ND, do something about it:/
when you have connection error it sucks because you didnt do anything wrong and you lose a whole bunch of money and your rank goes down too. this happens to me a lot and it sucks! please do something about it.
yeah this pentalty should only apply to people who quit not to those who got kicked out for a connection error. I went from almost level 35 to a 33 in just 4 connection errors. This sucks and I am not going to being playing anymore what is the point.
what’s even more retarded is when i try to sign in it sais “error syncing player data” and doesn’t work
Hey i have that happen to too, its very annoying. please take it out or change the way it does it or something.
I completely agree, once i had to leave a match coz i had to go 2 the town and i went down a whole level!
I have seen a lot of freeze ups on my end and connection errors for other players after the update. Like Obi said, it sux because you lose money and rank. WTF?

I have the same problem, when i connecting to multiplayer it’s pop up, “ERROR CONNECTION OF PLAYER DATA”.

Yeah this has happened to me every time since the patch update. I have lost $120,000 so far and have done nothing wrong. Please Naughty Dog, fix this and raise my ranking back up, I have never left a multiplayer mission early.
I don’t really have a problem with the penlity when you leave a game, however I think has to be something so it knows that you didn’t do it on perpus. Also, is there going to be any more co-op missions.
My dog licks my hand whatever I give hem food or kick is ass.
Some guys look like the same around here. They Yell “AWESOME” whatever ND do.

Same happens to me. After the update i can’t join a game. if i can join a game there’s a connection error. or it takes heeps of time finding players.. can you please fix this?
last update took all my add on skins and left me with nothing nice
I have Never had any Connection Problems in the past playing Uncharted 2 until after the update. I heard about double XP and new DLC for free so I jumped online, found a game and then 2 minutes into the frist game my charachter froze on screen and the game ended with a Connection Error. This happened 3 more times as I tried to PLAY A FULL GAME. To my surprise all my money and and my Stats went back to 1. I don’t drop out of games, i don’t like when people do that. Please Address this issue Naughty Dog. I love the game, i bought it on day one, MP was working fine, then…

yes indeed!!!! custom game is not working with my friends...he cannot join my party and status shows “playing single player” while in fact he is in multiplayer mode. please do something about it. before the patch it was ok

Halfway through my installation.
It’s appeared fine for me. Started it about 3 minutes ago. Just quit game and reload.. it should work.

The update came for me exactly 7 minutes ago.. it’s not gonna come early..

Just played the Fort Map good stuff!! Although the leaderboards are kinda weird I cant see where I rank and apparently the ranking is based of your stats after the update which is kinda odd. I hope its a delay in the stats or something.

Same here I only played one match but no double cash either which sucks I was super excited about it…
My brother and I wanted to stay up all night to play Uncharted 2 with double cash. The fact it isn’t working takes away most of the fun. :(

Hey, points aren’t adding up.
I played a match with only 2 kills.
Both were done with REVENGE, so they died after I did via my dropped grenade.
$500.00 - One guy
$500.00 - 2nd guy
$1000.00 - afterlife
$1000.00 - afterlife
$1000.00 - Double Down
Yet, I only got $3000.00?
Please look into it and fix it.
On another game, with about 4 Afterlifes and 2 Double Downs, and 10 kills, I only got $$7500.00
That SHOULD of been $11000.00
well i think the double cash thing isn’t working properly, this what happend to me. I got these medals:
Streak 3000
Fury 5000
Triple tread 6000
double down 1000
so far this is 15000 BUT lets not forget that each kill givesme 500 and i kill 13 total so its 6500 more, at the end i was expectin someting between 14k and 20k but nope, o just got 13k or so, so whats happening? and if you notest it already are you working on it??
the money is broken in co-op two.
you know how it has the calculator at the bottom with all the amounts?

MISSION COMPLETED: $50000
whatever the other one is: $500
TOTAL: $37500.

Stats before the patch aren’t showing up. Double cash isn’t working either.
Same here, though I appreciate the update it sucks to put all that time into the game and not get the correct stats or cash.

I’m definitely not getting the double cash, either.
It would be nice if you could actually give Double Cash, ND. It says I get double for Medals & Kills, yet I don’t receive either. It just gives me the same old amount. Please fix.

What someone did you see is they put the markers for the money in so it LOOKS like we get double cash. The medals all display double, but the end game count acts as if it were the normal in game amount.

well im getting double cash for kill and the medal but when the game finishes i dont get what i am suppose to get for the medal i got 6 expansionist medal and i had the the booster for more money so its suppose to be 4000 each but a t the end of the game i only got 22 000$ with all theo ther medal so i dont know what to do that suck

dude nd failed so dont stick up for them, they lied to us. and ruined the weekend. u would think they tested this before they let it out . epic fail from nd, thats how nd lost his fans. unless they fix it fast and extend the double cash weekend in to next week.

Well they absolutely just shafted about a third of their fan base with this move. Because double cash IS working for the majority of the people. So while they are gaining levels at 2-3 times the speed we are, we just sit here with nothing. The only thing they could do is completely cancel the double cash immediately and re-schedule for another weekend.
