A required Title Update for UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves is now live!

The next time you start up UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves you will be required to download an update to the game.

The list of changes we made is pretty short (and you’ve probably heard about them earlier this week):

Added Global and Friends list Leaderboards to the Multiplayer menu with the following categories:

Global Competitive Wins
Global Co-op
Global Kills
Global Money
Friends Competitive Wins
Friends Co-op
Friends Kills
Friends Money

Added a player card to the Multiplayer menu
Added “The Fort” multiplayer map

As always, there’s a few things we fiddled around with on the backend that we can’t tell you about.

UPDATE 2:45 PM PST: We have noticed that players have had an issue with receiving the proper rewards for Double Cash weekend. All players will shortly be receiving the correct amounts for kills and winning a match. We are still looking into the issue regarding Medal awards. We’ll update this post when we have more information.

what the hell?! Party-up system got bugged after the patch. Not only I can’t see my friends playing multiplayer but after joining team nothing happens. To any of us! After clicking on join NOTHING HAPPENS. Same happens to my friends, we can’t team up at all! Come on ND, do something about it:/

when you have connection error it sucks because you didnt do anything wrong and you lose a whole bunch of money and your rank goes down too. this happens to me a lot and it sucks! please do something about it.

Just played the Fort Map good stuff!! Although the leaderboards are kinda weird I cant see where I rank and apparently the ranking is based of your stats after the update which is kinda odd. I hope its a delay in the stats or something.

Hey, points aren’t adding up.

I played a match with only 2 kills.
Both were done with REVENGE, so they died after I did via my dropped grenade.

$500.00 - One guy
$500.00 - 2nd guy
$1000.00 - afterlife
$1000.00 - afterlife
$1000.00 - Double Down

Yet, I only got $3000.00?
Please look into it and fix it.

On another game, with about 4 Afterlifes and 2 Double Downs, and 10 kills, I only got $$7500.00

That SHOULD of been $11000.00

well i think the double cash thing isn’t working properly, this what happend to me. I got these medals:

Streak 3000
Fury 5000
Triple tread 6000
double down 1000

so far this is 15000 BUT lets not forget that each kill givesme 500 and i kill 13 total so its 6500 more, at the end i was expectin someting between 14k and 20k but nope, o just got 13k or so, so whats happening? and if you notest it already are you working on it??

I guess I should expand

What someone did you see is they put the markers for the money in so it LOOKS like we get double cash. The medals all display double, but the end game count acts as if it were the normal in game amount.

well im getting double cash for kill and the medal but when the game finishes i dont get what i am suppose to get for the medal i got 6 expansionist medal and i had the the booster for more money so its suppose to be 4000 each but a t the end of the game i only got 22 000$ with all theo ther medal so i dont know what to do that suck

Fix double cash you idiots. It’s not working for me and I’m about to put this stupid game on eBay because of it. I’m not going to play this game 3 times longer than everyone else just to end up in the same spot.

Well they absolutely just shafted about a third of their fan base with this move. Because double cash IS working for the majority of the people. So while they are gaining levels at 2-3 times the speed we are, we just sit here with nothing. The only thing they could do is completely cancel the double cash immediately and re-schedule for another weekend.

God, this is so not cool. I was really looking forard to this especially as I only had the chance to use this Friday of the Double Cash weekend. ND better comes up with a good excuse for the nearly 100.000 $ I already lost because of them failing. And I didn’t even play that much until now.

New Map? It’s nice, yeah, but really not good enough to make me forget about the Double Cash Promise that never happened. And, wtf. Why are you teasing me by showing me the Money I could have gotten?

put down the drugs guys and stop celebrating over a very disapointing map and sort this out, if you removed double money at halloween without a patch i think you can add it simple enough, way to disapoint us who dedicated the evening to play

I do like the map, to be honest.

I started to play this game in the first Double Cash weekend, I really sucked at it, so I didn’t really make much extra money. Now I’m much more experienced and it would be awesome if I’d make some extra money to level up a quicker. Me and my lil’ brother planned to stay up all night because of the Double Cash, but there is no Double Cash. e__e

Hooray, Dogs are back hard at work making one of the best games ever even better! Thanks to all at Naughty Dog. I second that something like turkey leg guns and pie grenades would be awesome. Food for future thought ND?

WOW this update SUCKS!!!! I have a total of 16,532 kills yet we’re starting from scratch?!?! BULLSHIT! I am a rank 54 and have logged over 175 hrs into this game in the past 2 weeks and the stats are all at zero??? WTF??? WHY ISNT MY REAL STATS TRANSFERING OVER TO THE NEW LEADERBOARD SYSTEM????? TOTAL CASH DID! WHY DIDN’T EVERYTHING ELSE???? My kills, wins, ratio? ALL BACK TO ZERO!!!!!! FIX THIS SHIT ND COME ON!!!!!!!!!! I’m a wicked good player and have NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT! TRANSFER MY WEB STATS TO THE GAME LIKE IT SHOULD BE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone here needs to chill....you ungrateful little brats. They DIDN’T have to even come out with this update. We got a new map, cool scoreboard, and Donut skins. Why don’t gamers play games for...uhhh...you know fun anymore? All you care about are ranks and cash? Are you kidding mean. Playing video games isn’t a mission or for trophies, you play it because it’s fun to play. People are losing sight of that.

As for the update itself hopefully they can fix more important stuff like map glitches and whatnot...not how much cash I get after each kill.

what rank are you?? and as for the leaderboards evry other shooter has them so its about time we got them...im not a brat i just think it would be good if they gave us what THEY said they would.....and it said it was for 5 days anyway

I’m not sure what relevance it has but I’m level 43. And yes they did promise these updates but for the most part they delivered. Give them a moment to fix it, it’s Thanksgiving weekend after all...maybe they’re with family and friends? The point is they didn’t HAVE to do this. Most companies probably would not have. They gave a cool little treat for the holidays and it’s greatly appreciated.

nd i just played the game with the update and no cash . it says u get double for medals but when the game ends u dont get it? wtf? fix this fast. also the deposit booster is not working to. u get nothing for dooing a match. i counted the medals what said on the screen and total i should have 45000 in stead i got 22000. wtf?
