A required Title Update for UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves is now live!

The next time you start up UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves you will be required to download an update to the game.

The list of changes we made is pretty short (and you’ve probably heard about them earlier this week):

Added Global and Friends list Leaderboards to the Multiplayer menu with the following categories:

Global Competitive Wins
Global Co-op
Global Kills
Global Money
Friends Competitive Wins
Friends Co-op
Friends Kills
Friends Money

Added a player card to the Multiplayer menu
Added “The Fort” multiplayer map

As always, there’s a few things we fiddled around with on the backend that we can’t tell you about.

UPDATE 2:45 PM PST: We have noticed that players have had an issue with receiving the proper rewards for Double Cash weekend. All players will shortly be receiving the correct amounts for kills and winning a match. We are still looking into the issue regarding Medal awards. We’ll update this post when we have more information.

yeah this pentalty should only apply to people who quit not to those who got kicked out for a connection error. I went from almost level 35 to a 33 in just 4 connection errors. This sucks and I am not going to being playing anymore what is the point.

I have Never had any Connection Problems in the past playing Uncharted 2 until after the update. I heard about double XP and new DLC for free so I jumped online, found a game and then 2 minutes into the frist game my charachter froze on screen and the game ended with a Connection Error. This happened 3 more times as I tried to PLAY A FULL GAME. To my surprise all my money and and my Stats went back to 1. I don’t drop out of games, i don’t like when people do that. Please Address this issue Naughty Dog. I love the game, i bought it on day one, MP was working fine, then…

yes indeed!!!! custom game is not working with my friends...he cannot join my party and status shows “playing single player” while in fact he is in multiplayer mode. please do something about it. before the patch it was ok

the money is broken in co-op two.
you know how it has the calculator at the bottom with all the amounts?
mine said:

MEDALS: $11000
MISSION COMPLETED: $50000
whatever the other one is: $500

TOTAL: $37500.

You sir shouldn’t set aside an “afternoon/evening” just for a game.
That’s what you should be complaining about. It’s a game double exp is somewhat frowned upon by myself seems to easy for people to level up I like the challenge of getting my rank up slower but more efficiently.

Wow i was thinking that i could upgrade my skill and level this weekend but the double cash money don’t work at all so that so bad .....

Yeah, the double cash isn’t workin. I fired the game up Friday morning and it was working for about 1 hour. Then the game forze for a bit, I restarted and the 2X cash wasn’t working and hasnt been ever since. I was a little bummed but it’s not the end of the world. It’d be cool is ND would fix it and extend it for a few more days though

Any update on fixin the medals yet? just wondering i not pissed like most of the people on here...ND u are the sh**..You people need to realize stuff goes wrong sometimes so don’t get pissed your not getting double cash on everything...your still getting something...and ND doesn’t have to give us anything..be thankful…

Great game Naughty Dog, love the new level. For your next level you should make something really vertical. An alley between two buildings with a suicide drop. A few rooms in either building, and some fire escapes to jump between. You could have 2 or 3 floors in the building too. I think it would be a blast!

One thing that you should look into is reducing the grenade explosion. Many times someone throws a grenade at me, and I dodge it, pratically 3 metres away, I still die. But if i throw a grenade and it lands right under them, it’s as if nothing happens. It’s either that, or half the people playing this game online lags, and it’s really starting to get annoying. Plus there are times when we accidentally team kill with a grenade but the other guy is on the other side of the map, and many times we noticed people glitching the game, I just hope ND can look it up and try to do something about it. At least the lag isnt as bad as mw2.

The other thigns you should try to check out ND, is to balance the teams. It happens every so often that I’m matchmaking and there is a mix of high levels and low levels, but I always get sided with the low levels against the high levels, should it not be evened out, so theres highs and lows on both sides? I’m level 45 and I dont think it’s balanced to have a team of 10’s and 20’s against a team of 50’s and no one is in a party.

Wow , anyone else having some major issues with connection errors this weekend ? Im not having any problems with other games but lost connection 7 times last night with-in an hour,ran connection test and had no issues there 6.3mb down 600kb/s up.
But kept losing connection once i started playing
Part that sucks is the game doesn’t recognize i got dropped before it started and i get a 40k fine everytime ..Losing 280k in about 20 minutes really sucks!

Your single player experience was had an exelent quality. But in multiplayer I’ve experienced some problems.

Well, I’ve problem that I’ve downloaded the patch and when I try to connect in multiplayer game. It try to sycronice the game to current version but there’s always when I try this an error message. something model uploading error. Could you please explain me what’s going on? and why it’s so. and even better could you fix the problem.

I always wondered about Guys who lost their Internet connection and therefore 40.000$ penalty because I never lost my Internet, my provider is (usually) very stable.
Now I think about with greatest concern because I lost my Internet connection 4 times in 5 minutes and so I lost 160.000$. I´m not a very good player and this is more I´ve earned the whole double cash weekend. To use a $ penalty is not the right solution, think about blocking such gamers for 30 minutes for example!!!

Why didn’t u fix the “stand still lag” in this update, Im sick of getting killed or almost killing someone while this is happening same for my friends, I could of been lvl 53 by now if it weren’t for this stupid problem so patch it soon!

pleaseee fix the grenades

when someone throws a grenade it’s almost impossible to escape from it, i was in cover and someone threw a grenade, i quikly tapped O to escape from it right when the grenade was in mid air and i still died. and plus i was pretty far away from the grenades.

Any chance of a function to rewind a little bit of the video? Or play the game back backwards? I’ve wanted to go to a certain cool bit of a match, but can’t go back once I’ve gone past it even by a second or two =(

Is double cash for Co-Op too? Because I haven’t been getting it for anything at all. I left my parents home early this weekend so I could get back and at least enjoy Sunday and today earning lots of money, but I don’t seem to be getting double for medals or anything…

I’m still earning about the same amount I usually do in Survival, if double cash was in effect I should be maxing out at $50,000 almost every game.

Why no leaderboard for K/D ratio?

The current leaderboard categories just tell you who has played the most since November 27 when the in-game leaderboards started tracking stats. The exception is overall money, which is just who has played the most since the game came out.

There should be leaderboards for K/D ratio and maybe W/L ratio.

Although you guys may not see this among the sea of comments on here, I figured I’d let you know that players still don’t show up in my recently met players list. It’s not really that big a deal to me; I know you guys said you fixed it though, so I figured I’d tell you it’s not working. Other than that, I love uncharted 2. You guys rock!

I downloaded it today and I wondered that I have no competitve games and kills in my card but I’ve played alot of matches and got over 3000 kills.
Doesn’t my stats before the new update get added? I looked in the Leaderboards and there are people who got over 4000 kills. I can’t believe that they make it in that short time. Anyway great update! When does come Rika, Eddy and the others for Multiplayer whos written in the credits?

PLEASE STOP WITH THE 40.000 FINE. I’m level 45 and a serious gamer, my internet connection is fine but there something wrong at your end. I’m done with this s##t, going back to modern warfare2. although this game is nicer.

Hm, why is it “back to normal” regarding mixed-level-opponents i death match? I really really liked to play against similir level-opponents like me (level53),which gave good resistance and improved oneself. BUT now it is back to normal? Why? Did you, naughty dog, tested so can feedback? Put it back, it was MUCH better to play against similar level-players!

Hi have the same problem the double cash did not work for me either, furthermore all the money I got playing on line,I have no access to it, when I try to use it, it says I don’t have enough in my wallet, even though I have more that one million when I go to my profile, maybe I’m doing something wrong, if anyone have this problem and have a solution please I truly appreciated the help

Good job on the -40k. i agree with that because i hate when the other team starts leaving until its 2v5. it gets hard searching for the same 2 guys. then when u find them your teamate gets the kill instead. its pretty hard leveling up like that when im in level 56. and imagine how the 2 players feel! getting killed over n over!
