Really interested in the µblog updates, but I no longer use twitter, I moved to a similar but better (in my eye at least) system :/
Since it mirrors the API for twitter, you just need to change the URL for updates - I assume NaughtyDog wouldn’t be interested in adding StatusNet support?

I actually signed up for Twitter because of this feature(for multiplayer games), but I’m certainly not complaining.  It’s no problem to wait a few weeks.  Friends can just as easily check your Trophies to see how far you’ve gotten in the game. 

I still can’t understand how IGN gave your game less than 10.  You’re offering a wealth of content and they called it one of the best games of this generation. 

The green screen feature alone isn’t worth an extra .5 O_O?

I want it to update all the time, what’s the big deal about frequent updates?? isn’t that why we got twitter to begin with?? DUH!!

Thanks for the update. I don’t really mind the Twitter-updates to be honest, but it’s nice to see you’re very involved.

Talking about involvement, I’d like to say that I’m really impressed by the demo so far. The game looks, feels and plays fantastic. Good job!

There are, however, a few small issues I’d like to address… Perhaps you can look into this before the game hits shelves.

User Interface:
• When you go to ‘Party up’, you can see the players you’ve met in the right column. By clicking on their names, you can select ‘View profile’ and ‘Add friend’. I’d like to see these options when you’re in matchmaking-listings/the match as well.

Currently, you can only select ‘mute’ when you highlight a player, but watching their profile or adding them as a friend directly would be very convenient.
• In that regard, I’d also really like to see a ‘Show players stats’ option when highlighting someone. It’s fun to compare or just watch stats of your friends or randoms while waiting for a match to finish loading, or while waiting for the next round in Elimination.
I know there’s a personal page with stats for everyone at NaughtyDog.com, but it would be nice to be able to see all this info in-game as well.

Matchmaking
• I’m sure there will be more playlists/gametypes in the full game, but I’d like to point out that I’d really like to see seperate playlists for Elimination. Maybe you could do variations on that too (like ‘Snipers & Grenades’ or ‘No grenades’), but at least give it it’s own playlist, instead of just adding it as a variation to the Deathmatch playlists, because in my opinion, Elimination is the best gametype available.
• Because of that, I’d like the Elimination matches to be a bit longer (more rounds to win the game - 10 should be just fine!)
• More filter-options in general

Elimination
• Between every round, both teams should be able to talk to eachother for a few seconds (not just in the seperate voicechat-channel for people that’ve died). It’s fun to laugh together about the final kill.
• When you get close to someone from the other team, you can hear ‘em. This is great, but please don’t cut someone off immediately when you kill him or her. It’s fun to hear their reaction after you pull them from a ledge, or give them an unexpected headshot.
• Please allow for more rounds to select when setting up a custom Elimination game with friends. A maximum of 7 rounds just isn’t enough!

Custom Games
• I’d really like to see a ‘open mic’ option, so all 10 players/friends in a private party can continue talking casually while playing a 5vs5 versus match

Gameplay
• Please allow for the ‘stealth’-stance (which can be used by pressing D-pad Down in Machinima mode and the singleplayer) to be used in multiplayer-games as well. This would be quite useful in Elimination, where you need to be silent and careful.

General:
• How about in-game music through XMB, just like in Killzone 2? Not for the singleplayer, just for the multiplayer.

Cinema Mode:
• It would be GREAT to be able to capture a few minutes of video in the Cinema mode and upload it directly to YouTube (like you can do in Ragdoll Kung Fu, for instance)

General:

That’s it. No nitpicking, no big changes. Just these small (and relatively simple to add) things would make a big difference to an already amazing package.

hello Naughty Dog , the beta is amazing but there’s a problems in it that makes me sad when i play it .  1st it takes 5min to find a game well that’s annoying , 2nd when playing a match first match goes fine but second one when the game started i get disconnected from playstation network , 2nd issue happens all time never played 2 matchs in row - overall i think this game is the best game of all time , got platinum in UNCHARTED1 and i cant wait for UNCHARTED2 , Naughty Dog is the best no argue in that

We all know Naughty Dog has a long and fruitful past when it comes to executing a game from the development stage all the way down to the finished product but I’m going to have to say I’ve noticed one somewhat major flaw to uncharted 2.

you say that this game is to somewhat tap into the new wave of social networking sites that we have all come to know and use on a somewhat day to day basis but Twitter? why? I know this game is being aimed at the higher age ranges but most people given the choice would prefer to use Facebook i know i would surely you guys have the skill to just bolt it on somewhat in the next update. I’m not nitpicking I’m merely making a suggestion

Can anyone comment on this, like just a little insight on what is happening did the server crash, or is it because the final game is not out yet why this is no-longer working..

Also will the ranks re-set again when the final game comes out… would really love to know this, because I’m already level 36 and I want to get to 50 but if it’s just going to restart..?

I’m sure you can use a pc app or mobile app that pushes status’s to other social networks all at once, in my opinion that would be the workaround at the moment, I’ll reply when I remember the name of the app, it involves you logging into facebook and messing with the apps permissions settings!

Naughty Dog - Congrats on a great game. I’ve never seen or played anything like it. It truly shows off the power of the ps3. One quick question? Are you looking into the crash issue some of us are having with the older model ps3?

My Games doesnt show up on twitter at all, it did on beta, but since then nothing has shown up on twitter!

Has anyone addressed the issue where Players met in Uncharted 2 Multiplayer dont show up on XMB players met or the Party Up players met area?

the only thing bothering me right now is the fact hat if you have the golden ak-47 and u pick up ak-47 ammo that is not from a golden ak-47 you loose the golden ak and get the regular...can u guys plzz fix that

im having problems connecting to multiplayer it keeps telling me error syncing player data please help

I’ve got the same problem as the person above. I was just about to start a Deathmatch game but it froze at the part where it shows the two teams. I didn’t want to turn my PS3 off so I signed off at the XMB screen. Ever since doing that I keep getting Error Syncing Player Data. Is there any way to solve this problem?

the invites need fixing, i’m randomly getting kicked out of peoples party for no reason.

need more maps. finding players in lobbies take too long ever since the last update.
