UNCHARTED 2 wins 4 BAFTA Awards at the GAME British Academy Video Game Awards
Evan Wells and Christophe Balestra was on had at the GAME British Academy Video Game Awards ceremony in London today, representing Naughty Dog as UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves wins four awards!
Cheers were heard around Naughty Dog as many of us were watching the live stream of the event. We’re all extremely happy and proud to have won the prestigious BAFTA awards in four categories:
- Action
- Original Score
- Story
- Use of Audio
Congratulations also go out to our friends and former colleagues at Cambridge Studio, Infinity Ward, Rocksteady Games, thatgamecompany and Valve for their respective well-deserved BAFTA wins - 2009 was an awesome year for exceedingly high-quality video games.

wow seriously. naughty dog is an amazing company that deserves all the awards they get. they don’t need a little ***** like you always complaining. if you don’t like the multiplayer, then don’t play it.

ok have your opinion. i agree that it was better before 1.5 patch, but it is still an insanely great game. you don’t have to be an asshole and ruin their moment.

also, + WHY have a website that says “the URL has too many segments.” when i try to comment??? You would think your website is compatible with the PS… + its odd how you can get a pulldown when your in the air or just let go of a ledge. + This needs attention: skeletons and new Chars make NO noise. + Fix 3 booster glitch + glass jaw & invalid one hit punch (Why have 2 boosters do the same thing?) + Evasion should be at lvl 49. + Extra Health first 3 secs of spawning please, NO Cash Limit
okaaay where do i start… pull downs: they’re perfectly fine - if your in fornt of someone when they hit square, it’s a kill; just admit they got you no matter where you tried to go before it came up on your screen. Skeletons and extra characters just make it more stealthy - who would complain about that?! similar response for 3 boosters.. why’re you complaining? invalid is clearly not the same thing as glass jaw - you can be killed with one punch and/or half the amount of bullets - hence why you get more money for using it. Next two suggestions are pointless, you only have to wait one extra level for evasion and extra health on spawn will be irrelevant once they’ve got it sorted. And finally no cash limit will make it too easy to rank up - i didnt feel the need to use ‘Come Get Some’ on plunders but when i accidently kept it on i would’ve broken £300,000 in one match. Just have some patience and use strategic boosters.

How in the world did you guys not win Artistic Achievement and Best Game?! This game totally spoiled me in terms of gorgeous graphics, charming storyline, superb acting, and incredible highs of fun.
Its hard to play other games after Uncharted 2, because they feel so outdated and irrelevant.
True. I’ve bought other shooters but after a few goes I always return to Uncharted 2. Nothing compares.

“we”, who the hell is we, i guess i’ll have to explain to u too, 1000 comments from like the same 445(people who have signed the petition) at the most hate this game or at least the multiplayer, yet 60000 are playing getting used to it, now i’m not saying they’re having fun but they arent talking shit about, they realize that its only a game and that they have the skill to adapt.
447 out of 70,000? srsly? just stfu and play the game.
Do you really think the game has 60k players daily and that only 500 out of these players complain? Lol…
When does the counter ever reset? When does the day start and end? Does it simply count every log-in or actually every single account only?
Why does it often take five to ten minutes to find an objective or ranked game (on default) even with a fast connection when so many people are online each day?
The number of people who actually voted against or at least not for the low health was already a few times higher than the 500 you mentioned. And you see new people/complaints here every day.
I bet at least 70% of all the gamers have a problem with the current state of the game.
Just because you like it doesn’t give you the right to tell us to shut up. The game is not the one we bought anymore and until this game is back, people have to complain.
This is not only about this MP. If if stays that way, the next MP in UC3 will be just as crappy…

yea that would be nice having a 1.04 playlist minus the glitches, it would shut a lot of people up too lol. again just to make it clear i dont like the 1.06 update yet i dont hate it (dont die to some random sh*tty grenade by some lvl 20).

I see there a lot of disagreements about the updates ‘ but i think they are OK!!! SOME gamers learn how to kill and when you change it a little bit they not able to do the upgrade for themselfs

I didnt know where else to post this but I’d just like to say that I stopped playing Uncharted 2 for about 2 months and now that I have returned to it there have been a lot of changes and it feels like a complete new game. Sadly I think some of these changes have been for the worse. The grenades have been nerfed way too much. I cant get any grenade kills anymore I used to get double downs with grenades all the time and now its a miracle if I can kill one person with a grenade. Also the new respawn system is crazy Im constantly respawning in front of enemies who just immediately kill me and I get a lot of cheap kills on enemies that spawn in front of me. Also the AK seems a lot more powerful now. Im still enjoying this game but I miss how this game used to play. I thought it was perfect back since day 1 and now it feels too different.
