Nearly one year ago Entertainment Weekly broke the news that UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception was real and coming out in 2011. Today we have finally reached the point of breaking through that finish line tape in another marathon of game development. We’re proud to announce that the third installment in the UNCHARTED franchise has gone gold, and is on its way to being manufactured for its November 1st release. We can’t wait to see everyone’s reaction to the next chapter of Nathan Drake’s adventures as it hits store shelves and homes everywhere in just three short weeks!

And as an added bonus, all retail copies of Uncharted 3 will include a voucher code for early access to the upcoming Starhawk Public Beta, which will be coming in early 2012. Just like Uncharted 3, Starhawk promises to provide an incredible multiplayer experience that only PS3 can deliver. We also wanted to tell you about another very cool bonus that our tireless dev team helped produce. Cant wait to see some of the behind the scenes footage in Dallas at the AMC theater!
And I got my hands on Starhawk last month and all I can say is..... wow, it blew my expectations away! Cant wait XD

This is kind of sad. Now that you guys have just finished yet another masterpiece, where will you go from here? What will you do until your next game OR are you at it again under wraps? You know like how you were totally not working on Uncharted 3 after Uncharted 2 but then came out with this huge teaser trailer and demo over night
If no one understands me I am suggesting that ND is already at work on their next project.

Im picking uncharted 3 up at midnight iv never been to a midnight launch but this is the 1 game il make an exception for im itching to play through the campaign and play co op with friends , I hope we get more than 2 map packs this time around also im hoping for co op adventure map pack dlc and campaign dlc is the 1 everybody wants i bet basically il buy any dlc pack for uncharted 3 but hope it’s as reasonably priced as uncharted 2 dlc , although for campaign / co op adventure dlc i would pay top ££ no questions asked.

This is all very good but the multiplayer still needs fixing!!!!!

BLIND FIRE IS TOO POWERFUL!

Blindfire & melee = 15-20 aimed & on target bullets

Also grenades need tweaking.

Honestly, ICGAF about ‘box art’.

Also: people are taking too long to ‘die’ after you’ve ‘killed’ them. Y’know..... the CHING!

It happened in U2 MP but that was just with laggers, this is with virtually every kill.

I’m gonna be buying U3 whether you fix this or not. But I’d still like a patch/update ASAP please.....

Can’t really believe somehow… that I’m finally gonna be able to play the sequel to the best made game today. No clue how you want to top Uncharted 2… but somehow I guess you will…

I have ignored every information and video about Uncharted 3 as much as possible to not spoil and ruin the experience, so I literally can’t wait to play and experience the campagin in about 3 weeks… Wohooo

I think a whole hearted round of applause is headed your way come November.

The Uncharted series has been one of the best on Playstation and I honestly think that Christophe’s comment ‘How many times can you get so much praise for one game in your life?’ can easily be answered with ‘Many times if you make games like this!’

Well done guys and our expectations are through the new roof for the sequel!

@Shadow-Man_4, and how long would you actually look at the box art lol it looks fine .
@R_J84 , I agree with you on the blindfiring I can understand level 1’s 2’s 5’s using it but when level 25+ are using it excessively , it takes the fun out the game and I feel like rage quitting.
@Opinions , uncharted isn’t 1 of the best series on ps3 it is the best , it’s way better than killzone , resistance and infamous , plus it’s way better than any 3rd party game , much better than CoD and BF

Naughty Dog please completely remove blindfiring from hardcore mode it’s impossible to defend against without any boosters or kickbacks without blindfiring yourself and I rarely blindfire unless theirs no other way I can get out of dying myself . Blindfiring is a cheap tactic that gets spammed to high hell by so many people it isn’t so bad when I have boosters and kickbacks but isn’t hardcore mode supposed to be all about the skill?

If you want to display your skill, shoot people before they get that close to you. If they come right up on you without warning, then go ahead and blindfire. It’s a perfectly valid tactic. Of course, if you aim, you should be able to kill them faster than they can kill you…

All I know is this is the only game I lag in. It didn’t happen in the beta, and I don’t lag in any other game. I have the same connection that I had then. What’s up with it? I’m getting tired of people calling me a lagger when I know it’s not me. Personally I don’t see how it’s a good thing.

Man, how awesome is this!? I’m totally sick of waiting for this. I don’t have patience when it comes to games like this. I want a flux-capacitor.

Man, it sucks for those of us who live in rural states in small towns that never get to go to stuff like the parties that Sony and Naughty Dog throw. Never stand a chance. Depressing. I could have possibly had a Uncharted 2: Fortune Hunter Edition.

Sony. or Naughty Dog, Uncharted 2 is nearly two years old. I think SCEA need to release Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Game of the Year Edition with availability of everything that came with the Fortune Hunter Edition. YES! The DAGGER! Also, we need a replica of Drakes journal up for grabs too. Naughty Dog, you should send me one. I’ll ask nicely.... “Please?”

ND please please reply to this, i have many cinema files saved and protected and was intending to make a montage but whenever i try to watch/edit them it freezes my ps3....please fix this, i will be so gutted if i have lost that footage it took a lot of hard work . thanks in advance

This game is hella addictive!!! I love it. I still have new games I haven’t even touched/finished. Sometimes I find myself running and gunning in my sleep with the sas-12. The only beef I have with this game is you took the best shot gun away. MOSS!!! Second, on the desert village, I always get stuck trying to jump from the roof of the middle building and can’t get out until shot. I know this is just a demo so I won’t gripe or complain. Love the booster system. And one more thing, thank you so much for doing away with situational awareness. That booster is for the weak!!! ITS BIZZLE!!!
