The Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception 1.04 patch has been deployed and will be rolling out across all regions globally over the next 24 hours. The patch notes to update 1.04 are as follows:

Available: February 6 2012

· Fixes for Hard and Crushing Co-op Adventure Mode that address treasure sets that could not be completed

Additionally, Patch 1.04 contains the necessary technical hooks for the playing of upcoming DLC. Full details on the DLC content will be posted by February 7th.

Please note: Patch 1.04 must be downloaded in order to play the upcoming DLC via online or on LAN Party.

We will have more information about the next patch as soon as it's ready to be deployed.

@JimmyHACK You missed the point, they dint increase the rarity of the ring. they only fixed the problem that people got nothing when they pick up his treasure while its supposed to drop the ring.

Thank you! i’ve been playing other games, and i played today with my buddy some arena and i realized how much I missed uncharted heh.

Gonna wait for the other patches in the mean time ill be playing jak and daxter collection

Will you be addressing the ‘Options don’t Save’ issue? It’s very annoying, and deleting your profile as some suggest causes you to lose access to Crushing mode in Campaign.

Also, any plans to re-think the FAL nerf? Personally I still think it needed a reduction in RoF, not damage - though of course many will disagree. It only takes a little bit of lag for those 3-4 bullets to ‘stick together’ and become a one-hit cannonball that you simply can’t react to, and it’s clearly down to the high semi-auto RoF.

I also echo other people’s sentiments about the need for improved matchmaking - mainly for Co-Op Adventure since 9 times out of 10 one or more players leave due to getting the wrong difficulty/level/noob team etc. Perhaps we should be able to search by Difficulty instead of just pot luck? (Since rank is no guarantee of skill)

Would like to see accessories for DLC characters (Nepal Chloe etc.) and more Create-A-Hero parts, that section is rather bare - especially headgear.

Last thing, any word on backup of player stats? Heard a number of cases of people getting reset, would be heartbroken if that was me!

Yo I got the Sony Playstation 7.1 surround sound wireless stereo headset and it’s been working great with the game, But ever since the new patch I’ve been hearing an annoying buzzing sound and can hear myself, so what ever y’all did with the headset audio could you change it back, It’s only with this game and it makes me not want to play it, so if you can please fix it thanks.

But QB 10 medals cost was/is still not balanced ;/ We can still use our QB nade after our death if we was killed while, few seconds after activated this kickback! That’s never happening when we are killed with for example RPG! kickback. In result: For many ppl using diffrent boosters is still pointless. Please remove timer and cancel QB effect after our death. ;/ PS Creepy Crawler need 14 medals…
Oh and what about fixing matchmaking who spliting us in party every day? :(

When you will update uncharted 3 web stats? there are a lot of medals missing!
Add a option to activate DLC and deactivate, like in U2.
I have problems with Decals Pack, i got U3 Special Edition, and the emblems like Pirate dont appear.
Kickbacks again unbalanced

I know you fixed the Co-Op Adventure treasure sets, but does Hunter mode also apply? I get blank drops on there. Would be nice to have a Treasure Hunter booster for Co-Op Hunter/Arena (still trying to get the Cat Ears and Winter Hat). Thanks for the fix!

You guys are way late with these fixes. I hope this stupid post-apocalyptic I Am Legend game was worth it. You’ve effectively killed the Uncharted series to make it. What a letdown sequel after the best game ever made (UC2).

I hope someday you fix the character art.

I can’t believe you thought what you gave use was enough. It took less than a month to hit the max level and your testers must of said something. You must be further than the considering stage surely? The code has got to be sitting there, to be patched in when the player number decrease and you need to boost interest again.

Hopefully we get patches to fix long term problems (since first beta) like the matchmaking. I also find the auto aim to be abysmal in co op and competitive. It’s like moving my crosshair through mud when two enemies are close.

I noticed this patch updated the Incan treasures and added (head) accessories to Lazarevic, Flynn, and Eddy

Lazarevic - Assault Helmet
Flynn - Bandit Mask
Eddy - Gold Glasses

Also noticed the new DLC is listed under the hero/villain skins. Doughnut Sully looks like he could use a treadmill with all those chins haha. Glad to see Accessory DLC coming in, idk about one piece at a time, that’s disappointing, but i appreciate it none the less. Next patch i hope there’s a decimation of Fleet Foot, Actual aiming with the T-Bolt (seriously, all i see is people not even looking, just immediate in and out “no scoping”, and (PLEASE) an actual fix to the matchmaking system, matching people with other within their respective ranks (ie. 20’s playing 20’s 50’s and 50’s etc. this inccludes those ranking in their respective legacies) I hope ;D

just so people know the patch is out now, did you guys see all the new players in the uncharted store? it has alot of NPC from story there, and under co op adventure maps theres a new one named fort. since you guys are throwing NPC’s from story can we get more past costumes? like winter sully or wetsuit elena?

I had this bug before that when playing with a friend in a party, one player gets in the match and the other player gets stuck at the “searching for other players” screen even when it says both players are in the game. I hope that got fixed

I like how some people comment on these posts and tell Naughty Dog what they “need” to do. Call it a hunch, but I’m pretty sure that ND is aware of what they need to do.

With that said, I am glad that the treasure issue in co-op is fixed and I am definitely looking forward to the DLC.

Hey Eric, are you going to change the horrendous female animations one day? They’re absolutely insulting, and can’t understand how no one in your studio did realise they looked awkward and tried to fix them.

I know it’s too late for model changes, but at least change the way females hold the weapons for God’s love, it would improve their overall looking and I’ll be able to play as Elena at least since Uncharted 2. I know you won’t probably answer, but I want to make you know some of the Uncharted fans like me were completely dissapointed with the way you made the female models and animations for multiplayer, especially after seeing the flawless job you did with them in Uncharted 2.

If you’re not going to change anything, just remove them, seriously. They’re like monkeys holding a baby.

Did you scraped that idea? Some people reported that the 4th legacy and level 76-100 are even visible in the piggyback guide of Uncharted 3!

starting @ 0:50 you can clearly see a shambala guardian mask for the custom villain.
I expected it to be a reward for the 4th legacy or for any level between 76-100, but now you are saying you are considering more levels?

This guy got reset to level 1 again and even lost all his hard collected treasure sets! I’m really scared playing now, because it took ages getting some of these treasure sets done!

Nice update ND, but a big fail for the kickback. Eric, i’ve taked a couple of picture about the rank emblem of one of my friend and instead of the 75 with the star he has a guy puttin a treasure in a chest (Plunder type). Is that a sort of bug or is something that u guys mean to?

There are lot of bugs in Coop. I got struck when I was playing airstrip for 5 minutes and also in Fort, When I was playing Coop I (drake) picked up AK. Then Drake shoots without gun in his hands ofcourse no bullets cameout. Then I pickedup M9 and after that it was OK.

Finally unlocked every skin got dougnut Drake last night. I just hope they release another legacy level now otherwise I think the game will get boring i’be been maxed out now since late Nov and I am running out of goals to complete. Thanks for patch nd

So yall reverted the quickboom back. Also does it take 5 shots or 7 with the fall ss to kill someone? Why is the gmal so freaking strong Eric it takes like 2 shots to kill someone now or maybe 3? Gmal is for noobs now thanks a freaking lot naughty dog. The Fal ss has no sort of stopping power now but the gmal stops you in one shot. Wth the gmal is the 2nd gun you get why doesn’t it have any recoil like the fal does and why does it slow you down in one shot?

G-Mal has always killed in 6 bullets which can be done in 2 shots if the person knows how to aim. Don’t blame the gun, blame aim assist, which does nearly all of the aiming for you. If ND took out aim assist and it was like UNC2, the G-Mal wouldn’t be a worry. Oh and nearly all guns have extra stopping power. I believe it was added in a patch to stop people from blind firing everyone and everything to death. So yeah blame those silly add ons, not the gun.

Me and my friends have all the characters except for Donut Drake. We tried this map hunderts of times but never got one of the treasures. We keep getting one treasure, which we should be getting actually in team deathmatch. I am sure you already know about this bug, the question is, if this bug has been fixed with the patch 1.04?

We really would like to have Donut Drake and i am sure a lot of other players want them aswell.

PLEASE READ!
Please find a way to fix the unusable DLC glitch,me and a few of my friends bought the DLC map pack,and non of us was able to use it(we are all EU gamers my US friends had no problem with the dlc)What happends is:Purchase successfull,install it,and when you go in the game,it says-You need to buy the DLC to use it.Please do fix it because right it looks like we wasted 10$ for a DLC that does not open.
2-Airstrip is glitched,my ps3 froze and cant read discs anymore,everytime that map opens(deathmatch only bcs. its the plane scene) everyone gets kicked out of the game 1 by 1,but a random person,will see a black screen and have its ps3 BLOCKED.You cant even turn off your ps3!
Im planing into joining into the FHC but please do look into the DLC glitch bcs. id most likely rage that i cant use the DLC .
I also think that i speak for most of your fans,i take my hat off and respect for a hard but right decision,choosing last of us instead of jak,jak is probably on of the most successfull games of this decade,and choosing an new IP instead of a high proffit game is something to be admired,although id like to see a new jak XD maybe in the ps4 days?XD

PLEASE change grenade throwback to another button like square or at least give it first priority over picking up a gun you happen to be standing near. So many unnecessary deaths have been caused by this broken control scheme.

I think the “Pattern Ring” (last boss, London) it’s still glitched

I’ve played London 50+ and no a single drop
I’ve beaten London more then 15 times since yesterday after the new patch 1.04 came out and nothing

drop rate is still very low imo

the thing is sometimes the hammer boss drops a completely different treasure;
(Not the Pattern Ring, Ottoman Bracelet or Jeweled Cross)
is a dm treasure I think, I don’t remember its name tho
