I spotted this homage to one of the greatest moments in televised history on one of the many whiteboards we use around the studio.

lol a Fox news quote is on the Uc2 GOTY case and a Uc3 demo is on NBC. are you guys going to put political jokes in the game? That would be really anoying to hear Drake slander fox, just like how Ratchet and Clank did in their 4th game. “Vox News” was saying lies about the two throughout the whole game until Ratchet became Vox’s mascot implieing that Fox only says good things to their own (who wouldn’t), and lies about the dems(which they don’t). naughty dog, please leave the political crap out of your game.

*Sigh* guys read the tags and the quote that says “Don’t go looking for secret or hidden messages, what you see is what you get” The tags say “uncharted 3, humor,not news” So this probably means the railings up and X climbing still needs to be tested. It was just a simple joke no news or hidden message about a demo or beta. Jus’ saying

wow!! jimmy didn’t even no its was up and x and if u pay attention 2 what he was saying before they started playing the demo he was talking about how he played uncharted 2 and his wife can in a grown man’s room and ass him it it was a movie. well if he was really playing uncharted 2 then how come he has no idea its up and x to climb up. ohh i c i guess uncharted 3 will be like nothing we’ve ever seen before and all the cntrol will be different based on what jimmy showed us.

Im pretty sure its just a Sign reminding someone to TEST UP & X to see that it isn’t buggy, one of the Many bugs that Naughty Dog would experience during the Making of Uncharted 3 as they say under the Pic one of the Many Whiteboards! So im pretty sure its just one of many bugs that needs to be tested & perfected!

It’s ND making fun of Jimmy Fallon. They had to tell Jimmy several times that the controls were “up and x” so he could move on with the demo. Like others have said, Jimmy said he had played Uncharted 2 before but clearly he hasn’t played it much at all.
It’s like explaining an inside joke. This is just a random blog post to show the humor in the day to day activities at the ND studio. There can’t be all work in no play can there?

If they have been working on the game for more than a year now, an early demo/beta is possible. And Naughty Dog is great to the fans, I could see them giving us an early taste of what will surely be a fantastic game. But people who are skeptic of this being anything more than fixing a glitch… What Arne said about “what you see is what you get” can be interpreted in 2 ways. The literal, meaning all we get is a picture of a simple memo on a whiteboard. But it could also mean that since we see the word “test”, WE the fans might be getting a test (beta/demo) of the game. No one can say for sure until Arne confirms something. Come on, Arne, please!

I know I will wait a lot to play the third part of the game, the problem is that I am bored now because there are no new maps for online uncharted 2 ..

Did 1.04 have better respawns? Because I get in matches with terrible respawns where there is an enemy right there and I die and one time I actually respawned at the same time and same place as an enemy and I sometimes spawn right in the tanks way and I die! What else did 1.04 have that was better?

Maybe its really what is it test up and x. Could mean that a demo is ready to be put out and x can mean it will be up in 10 days or 10 weeks (maybe). And I think its possibly about a demo because they said what you see is what you get with the link to the demo Jimmy Fallon made, otherwise saying we’re gonna get the same demo.

A beta on Uncharted 3 would be nice, but if uncharted 3 will be released 11-1-11,i think it would be smart to w8 to release the demo untill summer. Cause then people won’t be able to resist to play it every day. But if you release a demo now, i believe (god forbid it) that people will get tired of the demo, and it will be forgotten befor the release.
Do like you did with U2 Beta, w8 as long as posible and then give us (the player) what we have been w8ing for so long, and you will see the true “power” of the Fans of Nought Dog!!!!!

This is why I have more respect to NDI then to any other game company.
You guys never give up on humor, and are the first ones to share so many info with their community.

LOL MW2 sucks! u can’t even shoot while your behind a riot shield, or dive, no helicopters, can’t play zombies, i was confused how people liked that game when it came out. after comparing the multiplayers of Mw2 and Uc2, Uc2 was a lot better. it persuaded 4 of my friends who have an Xbox360 to get a Ps3, just because of it’s awesome Multiplayer. like Co-op, Death Match types, The Lab, The Skins (the Nazi Zombie, Doughnut Drake) MW2 liked putting in weed and crappy maps for high prices. all Uncharted 3 multiplayer needs is a co-op mode that doesn’t end intil’ you die, Zombies, and some kind of combat training like Black Ops does.

arne, can you PLEASE annouce a Uncharted 3 collectors edition. Litteraly the ONLY reason I am not pre ordering Uncharted 3 RIGHT NOW is the hope that there is a Ucharted 3 collecters edition. If not I will still pre order but I am a fan of collectors editions. PLEASE answer me back this time.

Hey guys I think I know what it means for sure now. That guy was having troubles with climbing the rail because it wasn’t working correctly. They put “Test up and x” to remind the people working at ND to test it and make sure it works. Anyone feel that is correct?
