Can you believe that 2011 marks the FIFTEENTH anniversary of the release of the original Crash Bandicoot game? That’s right. Later this year – August 31 to be precise – will mark fifteen years since Crash Bandicoot was released in the United States for the original PlayStation console. Europe got to experience Crash Bandicoot just over two months later, in November. That would a series of blog posts covering the entire making of the original Crash Bandicoot game quite timely, don’t you think? Lucky for all of us, last week Naughty Dog co-founder Andy Gavin, did just that. Didn’t get enough behind the scenes videos on your UNCHARTED 2 disc? Well, there’s plenty more where that came from—five more videos to be precise—bringing the total to twelve. Over the past couple of weeks, the PlayStation YouTube channel has been steadily adding additional Behind the Scenes videos to the seven already available as unlockable content within UNCHARTED 2. These extra videos go further into how our cinematics process worked and gives you a look at all the actors in UNCHARTED 2, details about the rehearsals, our motion capture process, and a look at how we did A.D.R. on the game.
