We launched UNCHARTED 3 Multiplayer Free-to-Play last week and we’ve seen a healthy uplift to our community to tune of over one hundred thousand downloads of the Free-to-Play in one week in North America alone. We’re excited to see our community grow and stoked to keep expanding the world of UNCHARTED to as many people as possible.   As a way to say thank you for all your continued support and give newcomers additional ways to play the multiplayer we’re adding Block Mesh Lab Maps #1 and #2 to The Lab this week. Also, both maps will be available in the Custom Games option. Uncharted 3 Patch 1.14 has been deployed for all regions except Asia. It is a minor update and an incremental patch. We are also pushing out a couple live updates and introducing the first Block Mesh Lab by our designer, Junki. By now you’ve become a badass at being a dependable teammate while taking out enemies trying to kill you in Uncharted 3 multiplayer, right? Not really? Ok, well, practice up because  a new game type is coming in fiery hot to Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception multiplayer! Co-Op Shade Survival Mode will be available Tuesday March 13 on the PS Store. You’ll be able to tackle some of the toughest enemies in the UNCHARTED franchise with the help of your friends. Want to see what you’ll be up against? There have been many forums posts and comments about Flashback Map Pack 2 and certain glitches that had been found while playing. The reason you saw those bugs is that the version that was posted on February 22nd on the European PS Store was an earlier version of the map pack that wasn’t final. For this reason we requested the content be taken down from the EU store temporarily. It was removed and replaced today.  This is important - EU PLAYERS – The correct and final version of Flashback Map Pack 2 is live. You will need to re-download it from your PS Store. You can do this by viewing recent purchases via the Download List (top right hand corner of your PS Store) and then selecting the Flashback Map Pack 2 content for download. The version of the Flashback Map Pack 2 that went live in all other regions outside of the EU is the final version. Those regions will not be required to re-download. With the announcement on the PlayStation.Blog that the PlayStation Store has been updated in North America we can now say that all regions can now purchase the newest downloadable content for UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves—the Siege Expansion Pack. The Siege Expansion Pack is available on the PlayStation Network store for $5.99 / £4.79 / €5.99. Fans in other regions—you’ll have to check your local store for your local pricing. Our latest downloadable content for UNCHARTED 2 – the “Drake’s Fortune Multiplayer Pack” – is now available on our local PlayStation Network Store for purchase. The PlayStation.Blog post we put up today has full details on what’s included and pricing for the United States PSN Store.  They also posted a few high-resolution character renders that we’ve got in a convenient set for you to view or download on our Flickr page. The “Drake’s Fortune Multiplayer Pack” bundle includes the six new character skins for competitive multiplayer and two new maps, all based on characters and environments from UNCHARTED: Drake’s Fortune, at the awesome price of $5.99. You’ll notice this bundle saves you some cash over purchasing everything separately. We’re right on the doorstep of releasing the “Drake’s Fortune Multiplayer Pack” – our latest set of downloadable content which includes six character skins and two new maps available separately or as a bundle for use with UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves. A common question we’ve seen from our players is how we will add these maps to our matchmaking system. Purchasing either the maps or the bundle unlocks an option in your online profile, which is accessible by pushing the square button on your controller. As you can see in this set of screenshots, the new option is called “Matchmaking.” The option has two available options: “Default” and “DLC.” Leaving the option at “Default” essentially tells our matchmaking system that you want to get into matches as quickly as possible. Normally, we’d shed some more light on Title Update 1.05, but what we would be revealing is covered in today’s exclusive reveal by IGN about our upcoming Drake’s Fortune Multiplayer Pack DLC releases.
