Jak & Daxter Classics Re-Released with Limited Run Games
Relive the PS2 classics with new physical standard and collector's edition releases for PS4.
Last month, we were excited to reveal our collaboration with Limited Run Games to celebrate one of the most defining series in our history with the release of all four original Jak and Daxter PlayStation 2 games as physical discs for PlayStation 4! Together we are giving fans an opportunity to collect and relive these games for years to come.
Limited Run Games kicked things off with the debut of Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy in December, dropping both a Standard Edition and a Collector’s Edition that include special collectible items and previously unreleased content. The Collector’s Edition features a poster, Design Archive book, Precursor Orb statue, PS2 Memory Card-shaped USB drive, foil trading card set, and the official soundtrack.. We were blown away to find that all editions sold out immediately!
Following the first set, Limited Run Games will be continuing with the release of Jak II, Jak 3, and Jak X: Combat Racing, beginning today with pre-sales for Jak II. Just like the first Limited Run Games Jak & Daxter release, the Jak II Collector’s Edition features special mementos for the superfan. You can be sure that Limited Run Games has other exciting things in store for Jak 3 and Jak X.
