The Last of Us Demo and Merch at PAX East

The Last of Us will be playable for the public for the first time ever at PAX East. We have a ton of cool merch and giveaways happening as well.

We’re ecstatic to head to PAX East. Mostly because we get to show off all our hard work on The Last of Us and mainly because it’s the event were you can be the first fan ever to go hands-on with the game! We can’t wait to hear and read about your reactions to the demo.

The demo will be played inside a custom-designed booth modeled after an in-game environment. To top it all off the demo itself is set in Boston after the city has been decimated by the Cordyceps infection. Steel your nerves and see if you can make it to the end of the demo. If you manage to reach the end in the time you’re allotted you’ll be rewarded with one of our tension bricks (that we’ve playfully named Brock):

Happy Brock
Sad Brock

All fans who play the demo (while supplies last) will receive a very special The Last of Us t-shirt:

We’ll have male and females sizes of the t-shirts available. The shirt features art by the awesome Faith Erin Hicks who is working with us on The Last of Us: American Dreams. Additionally, Dark Horse Comics has provided us with 250 of a limited run of 500 posters featuring cover art by Julian Totino Tedesco from The Last of Us: American Dreams issue #2.

Supplies are limited for all items and when they’re gone, that’s it. So be sure to stop by the PlayStation Booth and play The Last of Us for the first time and earn some very unique The Last of Us merch.

See you in Boston!
