UNCHARTED 2 Game of the Year Edition
We’ve announced today that UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves will be available as a special Game of the Year Edition at retailers all over North America on October 12, 2010.
News of this announcement shouldn’t come as a surprise as it is all over the internets this morning. To commemorate UNCHARTED 2 as the definitive Game of the Year in 2009 – we won over 50 of these awards, by the way – we’re proud to reveal the UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves Game of the Year Edition. Due at retailers all over North America starting on October 12, 2010, the UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves Game of the Year Edition has a suggested retail price of $49.99, which includes the regular retail Blu-ray of UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves along with a “super voucher” for the PlayStation Network Store that lets you download over $35.00 of DLC content -- some of which were pre-order items only available for launch and they are still NOT available for purchase on the PlayStation Network Store. It's been a dream to see the game so well received and continue to sell -- we're at over 3.8 million units worldwide to date -- and we wanted to give anyone who the UNCHARTED 2 community sometime post-release, or just now joining us with the release of the Game of the Year Edition, a second chance of sorts to snatch up these pre-order items.
