Uncharted 4 Multiplayer - Classic Throwback DLC Now Available
Classic Mode goes permanent, Ranked King of the Hill, new weapons, and more!
Alongside the debut of our extended gameplay demo from Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, today we’re excited to announce Classic Throwback—our latest DLC update to Uncharted 4: Multiplayer! The update includes Classic Mode as a permanent gametype, Ranked King of the Hill, new weapons, over 80 new customization items, and more. Check out our new trailer and all of the details below!
The update includes:
- Two new weapons:
- Carrigan 53 Long Gun
- GX3-9 Long Gun
- 40 new character skins, including new sports-themed sets
- 21 new vanity items
- 13 new taunts
- 16 new weapon skins
- Three new Survival boosters
- New Ranked season rewards
- Challenges for new items
After debuting in the Beta Test playlist, Classic Mode is now a permanent gametype available from the Multiplayer menu. This back-to-basics mode focuses on core combat and traversal--there’s no in-game store, no Mysticals, and no Sidekicks.
Here’s a full list of the mode rules:
- No store (no sidekicks, mystical, heavy weapons to purchase)
- No marking (Boosters that allow marking will not function)
- No weapon mods or Hero Weapons
- No radar
- Grenades only
- Instant respawn
- Heavy Weapons spawn on the map
We’ve also added King of the Hill to Ranked play! Two teams must compete to capture and control rotating hills. Once a hill is captured, the controlling team must defend it against incoming attacks from the enemy team. Without a chance to respawn, the defending team must fight to maintain control as long as they can and avoid getting wiped out.
We’re also introducing new scoring rules for Ranked. Starting today, your performance grade is determined by your total score, including objective score, offense score, support score. There is also now a bonus for a blowout victory - if your team wins the match by a margin of 100 or more, you get an extra 10 rank points. We’ve also got a brand new set of Ranked Rewards: the Ranked Masks set.
This update is available now to all Uncharted 4 owners now, but will also be included with Uncharted: The Lost Legacy when it launches on August 22.
