German Localization Quality Assurance Tester / Development Support (Temporary Assignment)

This position is for a temporary engagement through our staffing partner Yoh Services.

Not a remote workable position. Ensure you can commute to Santa Monica, California on a daily basis.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for this position.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Native-level German / Deutsch fluency in regards to reading, writing, speaking and listening skills
  • Familiarity with PlayStation 4 system and games
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Team-oriented individual who can also work effectively alone
  • Flexible and adaptive to assignment and schedule changes (including overtime)

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, log, and maintain both localization and gameplay issues
  • Localization quality assurance/development support
  • Edit, proofread, and correct inaccurate text
  • Ad hoc and bug regression testing when applicable
  • May assist other departments with game development or administrative tasks

Bonus Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of video game QA processes and methodologies
  • Experience with localization/translation tools
  • Prior testing/troubleshooting experience within the gaming industry
  • Translation, editing, or proofreading experience

The first contract period is 6 months and this is a full-time TEMPORARY position with overtime hours expected at various times during the project cycle.
